Cool, late night build sessions are great! I haven't had one since my silent air compressor died. Kinda hard to airbrush with a 4 horsepower compressor kicking on at 1 am with the kid and wife asleep... They get a bit irritated... Don't ask how I know...
I use 91% isopropyl alcohol to thin my clear coat. I've got the same brand and type as blue Popsicle.
I've also used it to strip urethanes, works great.
Hey, that's the same clear I use. I just threw away about a 1/3 of a bottle of hardner cause it flashed off in what I thought was a sealed can... I guess not!
Sounds good, usually when I have to strip them its because I totally screwed up the clearcoat, I was amazed at how good it worked on urethanes! I'll have to remember that the next time I drop a hood on the floor
This is great, primer gray is my favorite color! When I had my ford ranger slammed and doing body work I had it in primer, my buddy bought me a Tshirt that read "I like mine with no shine" had a pic of a mini truck in primer and some guy spray painting more on!
That's right, now I remember you saying you we're using nail polish. I'm gonna have to try that, I've got a 12 year old and my wife that both love to paint their nails, I could do some crazy paint jobs!
Funny you say that, I built my desk because I needed more room, I had a very small desk to start with. It was maybe 3 sq ft? I built mine 5' x 2' and I still end up working in a 1 foot area.
Don't get me wrong, I like sweatshirt and jeans weather to, I mean, I'm a fat guy, so I don't want it to hot, but if it gets to cold and I have to put on a lot of clothes I can't move
