  1. Cool, late night build sessions are great! I haven't had one since my silent air compressor died. Kinda hard to airbrush with a 4 horsepower compressor kicking on at 1 am with the kid and wife asleep... They get a bit irritated... Don't ask how I know...
  2. I use 91% isopropyl alcohol to thin my clear coat. I've got the same brand and type as blue Popsicle. I've also used it to strip urethanes, works great.
  3. That sure is pretty! Did you thin your clear at all? I've found it goes on a lot smoother if I thin it down a little with 91% isopropyl alcohol.
  4. Yeah, same stuff, except I got mine at a carquest.
  5. Hey, that's the same clear I use. I just threw away about a 1/3 of a bottle of hardner cause it flashed off in what I thought was a sealed can... I guess not!
  6. Sounds good, usually when I have to strip them its because I totally screwed up the clearcoat, I was amazed at how good it worked on urethanes! I'll have to remember that the next time I drop a hood on the floor
  7. That's nice. The flames look great to!
  8. Ok, I'm from west central Indiana. Only a few hours away.
  9. Hey bro, where are you from? I've got the same weather forecast!
  10. You sir, need a hobby! Man, how do you find time to build anything but z's in bed???
  11. This is great, primer gray is my favorite color! When I had my ford ranger slammed and doing body work I had it in primer, my buddy bought me a Tshirt that read "I like mine with no shine" had a pic of a mini truck in primer and some guy spray painting more on!
  12. Personally, I like Shelby style stripes, but it's your build.
  13. What mountain in northern Canada does he live on
  14. Ill have to look into it. Thanks for the info.
  15. That's right, now I remember you saying you we're using nail polish. I'm gonna have to try that, I've got a 12 year old and my wife that both love to paint their nails, I could do some crazy paint jobs!
  16. That's pretty. That first pic does look pretty cool, what color paint did you use?
  17. Funny you say that, I built my desk because I needed more room, I had a very small desk to start with. It was maybe 3 sq ft? I built mine 5' x 2' and I still end up working in a 1 foot area.
  18. Don't get me wrong, I like sweatshirt and jeans weather to, I mean, I'm a fat guy, so I don't want it to hot, but if it gets to cold and I have to put on a lot of clothes I can't move
  19. That's what my dad always said, personally I prefer 72 year round, but since I live in Indiana, I fixed the truck so bring on the blizzard...
  20. I love it, I had a splash that I slammed 4/6 back in the day. Sat really low, but I loved the ride.
