  1. Yea, those windshields can be a b*tch. Excellent work. It looks beautiful.
  2. I've always loved the Aussie Utes. Saw a Holden running around Sugar Land, Texas, a couple of years ago. No longer made, though. One, Ford & GM closed their Aussie factories. Two, full size pickups with luxury interiors fill the spot Utes were created for - a vehicle that could hall farm stuff and was still nice enough for going to church.
  3. Dang! That went away fast. They must have only one in stock when I looked.
  4. Thanks. I might need one of those. I love the 1:1 RS6 Avant but it is way out of my price range. 😩
  5. Where did you see that Alpha were doing this car? I can't find it on their web site or Facebook page.
  6. Maybe they don't want the low-life automotive riffraff scaring away their customers.:-) In reality, you are on private property, and the owner sets the rules. He could be liable for anything that happens on his property, so if he doesn't want you there, you can't be there. A few years ago, Cars & Coffee in Houston got kicked out of shopping center they had permission to be in because one of the stores in the center complained about all the people interfering with their customers.
  7. If you don't have the permission of the lot owner to hold a car show and they or the businesses there complain, yes the police can kick you out.
  8. There was a study done in England that concluded that men under the age of 50 who drove Blue BMWs were the most likely to suffer from road rage. I drove a blue BMW at the time (though over 50) so all my friend kept pointing out this study. I just told them to not P-O the drivers of blue BMWs and they wouldn't have any problems. 🙂
  9. Sports cars and armor. Lots of PE & decals available for both.
  10. Is there a photoetch set for it? Aftermarket decals? 😀
  11. Or you could order one from Hobby Link Japan for $38.69 plus shipping (which won't be $8800). https://www.hlj.com/1-24-scale-lamborghini-huracan-performante-aos05600 Just have to look in the right place. Aoshima loves to rerelease thier kits.
  12. Are you kidding? Bangle's stuff is down right gourgeous next to those angree beavers. (I actually liked his work. Had an E90 4-door. What I learned to dislike are the cheap materials BMW uses in the wrong places. Which is why something is always broken on them.)
  13. Apparently some of you folks need a "Noodle Stopper". Let Captain America stop your noodles: "FuRyu brings us more of their fun noodle stopper figures with "Avengers: Endgame"'s very own Captain American! Holding his shield above him to protect him from any boiling water, he can hang off of your instant noodle cup to make sure they cook perfectly in a seal container. Alternatively, just display him like a normal figure. Y'know, if that's your thing. Add him to your collection today!" Or maybe something more wimsical: "Hatsune Miku joins FuRyu's popular Noodle Stopper figure lineup! This fun figure is posed perfectly to sit on the edge of a shelf or other item. She can be used to hold down the lid of your cup noodles as they cook (hence the name!), or simply for decoration." Both available from HLJ. 😀😃😄😁
  14. Or just $18.84 plus shipping from HLJ. https://www.hlj.com/1-1-scale-best-hit-chronicle-cup-noodles-bans60591
  15. The bubbling in the paint is usually caused by hold the can too close to the model. Propelent is being blown into the wet paint.
  16. You can display it with your Tamiya Cup Noodle Honda GP bike.
  17. You don't have to "do Facebook" (I don't either) to be able to look at their page. Has lots of good photos of their models there. Mike
  18. French documentary about young girls who want to be dancers. Kind of Dance Moms gone bad. The dancing in the clip I saw was close to being sexually explicit. One report I read said their was brief nudity in the film.
  19. Alpha Models is a devision of Hobby Design. http://www.hobbydesign.com.cn/ But they do have their own Facebook page. https://www.facebook.com/reindetailparts/ Mike
  20. The BBB will do nothing. Contact the Pennsylvania Attorney General's office.
  21. Next time you mask, remove the tape almost immediately after painting. (Let it set up, though. Probably one hour max.) I've noticed that the longer Tamiya tape sits on a model, the more likely it is to mess up the paint underneath. I'm sure other tapes will also react the same way.
  22. Postponed to 2021. https://www.liarsmodelcarbuilders.com/
  23. Check out Aeroscale on the KitMaker network. https://aeroscale.kitmaker.net/ Mike
  24. Wave is a Japanese hobby company. They make a lot of mecha (Gundam style) kits now-a-days. I have that Tyrrel in my stash and have previously built 2 Wave kits - Benetton B192 F1 car and Sakura Spirit Armor mecha. The Tyrrell should build up into a nice model. I don't remeber any issues with either kit I built. Don't know if it is of any help, but you can see pictures of my finished models at these links: https://www.vintagerpm.com/124-benetton-b192/ https://www.vintagerpm.com/124-sakuras-spirit-armor/ Mike
