I think its how and what model you present in the diorama. you don't want to put a Ford Fusion for example in a 1950's Texaco scene because what sense would that make. But if you were to put a 1950 Ford truck then you would be alright.

You have absolutely no idea how bad I've been wanting one of these.

Send it this way, I am working on a 1955 Chevy Texaco Tanker. Fully scratch built the tanker, It will be waiting for the dio. LOL

I use dirt from my yard mixed with water and elmers glue. It makes killer mud effects. Make sure for your purpose that you get it thick and rich.

Although I am a Chevy guy at heart, I do indeed want to build one like that crew cab 4x4 up there.

Where'd ya get those 5 lug rims at? I love the truck. Reminds me of my grandpa's 86 Silverado, Sitting over in the building. Its a shame too because it has less then 5,000 Miles.

The only thing is, Be careful when you paint it because you will get paint on the model.

I like the old Texaco gas stations. They just had that one of a kind 50's look.

Ive got a conversion I am doing of a 1978 Chevy C30 Crew cab But its not the dually. Looks awesome, I love all the engine bay components you added to it.

I am no expert when it comes to the decals but heres an idea for you to edit for yourself. I was thinking that you could apply it as normal then after its good and dry use your Xacto to cut little holes in it, Peel out the center of the hole and then rough up the edges of the hole. You could also take some sort of pigment or whatever you got to dirty it up a bit. Looks good so far!

I built one of the Texaco trucks except I made a slight modification. I used the 1978 GMC snow plow kit. It came out awesome, ill sub to your channel and send the vid to you.

I belive that belongs with the road you got there.

Yes it does come with the factory bumper or the option of a push bumper.(I turned the push bumper into a old timey light bar)
