  1. Some great work going on guys. I haven't made any progress on the Ford but I have put together the diorama base that came with it. Anybody for a burger? DSCF1647 by timothy jones, on Flickr
  2. My main car is a 2013 Skoda Fabia SE. DSCF1043 by timothy jones, on Flickr Last year I got a bit carried away and now have a fleet. Thanks for the comments everyone. 🙂
  7. Nice to see one of these built, nice work.
  8. This is the Revell kit that I started back in 2014. Having sat in its box for a few years I decided it was time to get it finished as part of Snake's Bring Out Your Dead build. Apart from having to trim the dashboard as it fouled the windshield and stopped the body from sitting properly it all went together without any trouble. Colour is Ford Green Jade metallic with a dark grey interior. 9. Great job, it has a real 60's vibe.
  10. Great job and a nice colour choice.
  11. It may have taken over six years but the Mustang is done. DSCF1487 by timothy jones, on Flickr It looked better after a wash. 🙂 DSCF1491 by timothy jones, on Flickr
  12. Love the colour and vinyl roof. I hope you can get another windshield.
  13. Great colour choice on both the body and interior.
  14. Despite being very close to finishing progress has stalled for the past few weeks as a problem arose after fitting the windshield. Up to this point the body had fitted onto the chassis just how it should but after fitting the windshield the front end wouldn't come down far enough, meaning that the screen was fouling the dashboard. DSCF1546 by timothy jones, on Flickr DSCF1547 by timothy jones, on Flickr This meant I had to do some serious trimming and sanding on the dash. Before: DSCF1543 by timothy jones, on Flickr After: DSCF1626 by timothy jones, on Flickr With hindsight I should have fitted the windows and checked the fit of the interior before sticking it together. The body sits a lot better now so I should have it finished in the next couple of days.
  15. Thanks Anthony. Your friend's Mustang looks great. The exhaust and wheels have been fitted. I'm not sure why the instructions said to paint the rear suspension arms silver when those at the front are black but hey ho. I don't normally do weathering but in this case I gave the underside and exhaust a black wash. DSCF1544 by timothy jones, on Flickr DSCF1543 by timothy jones, on Flickr The trim on the body has been painted and the lights and rear windows fitted. DSCF1545 by timothy jones, on Flickr Not much left to do now to gitter done.
