  1. That was the one ! Thank you so much. I looked through my back issues and did not find it. I did put your link on my watch list. If my mad money comes in, I will purchase the magazine. Thanks for your help, I knew I wasn't crazy.
  2. I just went through this thread. I have a thing for these kits and have collected a box full of parts and rebuilders. If you need anything, just send me a pm. One of the rebuilders I picked up had a flathead V8 in it. I thought that was an interesting engine to put in it. To my surprise, it had a complete chassis under it from the 40 Ford pickup. Fit like a glove and looked like it came that way from the factory. A friend of mine built this.
  3. Now this is different...in an awesome way. 👌
  4. Just saw this thread. I have one of these in the stash, and will definitely follow along.
  5. Would one of the current reissued kits be close enough to give you patch panels?
  6. When I saw the start of this project in the Nov/Dec 1981 issue, I made sure I got to the hobby shop early enough to not miss an installment. I dreamed of building one. I still have all the articles, and still have the dream.
  7. Going through some things and these are hitting the trading block. 1987 Buick Grand National. No instructions, after going through all the parts it looks complete other than tires. Interior tub and door panels are primed, and everything is Dusty. IMSA Mustang ? Appears to be complete, many parts unpainted. Polar lights snap Batmobile. Complete other than Robin lost an arm. MPC General Lee Charger. Body in primer. No decals AMT SVT Mustang Cobra. Looks complete and unbuilt. I have no idea what I might be looking for. I know, at the moment, I am in need of a Revell 1968 Dart body and hood. Used is fine, as long it can clean up easy. Also a 57 Ford Del Rio Wagon..or two. I need them for donor kits. As far as other things I might like, throw something at me and see if it sticks. 😁
  8. Right back at you. Great trades over the years.
  9. Still don't like the yellow lines, but the rest is gorgeous. 😃
  10. Interesting old cars. Looks like they were stored in an attic, in a box with no lid. 😁
  11. Great job bringing this one across the finish line.

Looking forward to seeing your magic.
  13. Just traded for this. I built this and the wrecker when I was a kid. One down, one to go. Thanks Tom (Modlbldr) for a great trade.
  14. Love my Falcons. I have a promo in beautiful condition. I planned on opening the hood and using the Ranchero chassis, but when it arrived, it was too nice. 😃 Nice job with the restoration. 👍
  15. I really like the changes you have made with the wheels and filling in the t-tops. It is going to give it a whole different flavor than a smokey and the bandit tribute. Makes me think I can turn mine into a Rockford Files car, the later one.
