The Report function of the forum works well. If you see someone acting up, acting out, or just being an okole, use the Report function. It works! I have it set up so it not only sends me an email, but that email is then marked with a flag, and get's put to the top of my email list. I will try to access/look at the report/topic as soon as possible, but remember, I'm on a six hour time delay, and other mods not only have a life, but a real job as well. k den
I'm liking this model a lot! I wish I was alive when everyone had cb radios. I have one in my real life custom van but it doesn't get any use......I turn it on, scroll around but no one is out there anymore I guess. When I lived in Ontario, I got people on it more often.
I did a head liner in the front. I'll have to get a better photo. It's white with many little holes, it's got that stock look to it.
Spare tire will be in the back. You can kind of see how I did the sliding door hinge.
Got the decals on last night.
My hinges are functional but not scale. I'm really ok with that for now as this was my first time doing it. For future van models, I think that I would only cut the side door out so that you can see inside the van. Plus, it's kind of nice to have a sweet chevy van parked with the side door open. I think I can get away with it on this 'old' van too but not with a nice looking van......which will likely be my next build.
The hitch and decals are from the revell '77 chevy van kit
Not quite done, still needs the parking lights and a few other little things....
Wow! You've really nailed that interior. I especially like the seats, they really look right. I find it's the seats that make it a little harder to do a very 'stock' looking van as many van kits have anything other than stock seats.......it's the first thing I see most of the time. Your model is simply perfect, well done :
