There you are tetsooey, let me take this opportunity to thank you again for all the help with the bodies, I sure couldn't have make them so nicely!!!
Guys?.... What happened to the GT thread?, I still have the Pescarolo on my workbench, never kept going because it got me really frustrated with the photo etched grills and such (maybe this is something that requires to call up upon on Tetsuo again?

I may be the least appropriate person to comment on this because of my short time in the hobby, but I completely have to agree with you on the Revell comments (The Audi A4 DTM fiasco comes to mind)...
Now, I dont think Revell kits are of a bad quality, I just think they need a different building approach, after messing up three different kits I realized they need either a different kind of paint or maybe just very light coats of it (Is a fact their plastic will react to it by either shrinking or bending); like someone said earlier on this thread (Or maybe one of mine), they are hit or miss as far as fitting goes.
Man... These words just make my love for Tamiya grow stronger and stronger

WAIT!!!... Did you just said Lara???... As in Lara Croft???, I think I just found my missing sibling!!!... She was the one that got me trough 5 days of laying in bed with a fever IOI.
Cant wait to start with the Nissan... The friend that helped me with the Supra decals made one to die for.

I know this build doesn't qualify for this thread (By a week), but is probably the reason why we got the GT forum started... It is without a doubt the best one off my bench so far.

Ah!!!... I'm sorry, Just realized I never posted the Diorama project in this thread...
What happened was that I was kind of tired of taking photos in the backyard, so I went to Home Depot on Friday got some materials and made this set up (is pretty basic and obviously not to scale, but you'll get the idea):
So I go outside and place it somewhere that would allow me to take snapshots from a distance:
And then come back home and crop it a little (if needed):
It literally rained 30ft right before I could get into my car...

Thanks for all the comments guys, it has been a couple days and I still come back to my studio to look at these things over and over.
Austin, the photo with the track was improvised by placing the diorama right next to my Desktop screen, I really want to go out with it to take a more natural shot, but it has been raining non stop.

Got a little more done on BMW. This thing has more ridges on areas that should be flat. Engine didn't fit correctly in bay. Still trying to decide if gas tank/rear undertray should be aluminum per directions, or some shade of black. Can't find any rear pictures on line.
The project is coming along nicely Oscar, I know is a crappy shot, but try here for a fuel cell unrestored.

Gentleman, we have just finished!!!... They both have little things here and there (The mirrors were left out intentionally), but they are without a doubt my best so far.... Extremely happy with the result, I hope my friend would be too
It has been raining nonstop since Friday, but I wanted to try my weekend project so improvised a little
Thanks to all of you that hung around for the duration of the build.
