  1. Beautiful Pontiac,love the colors.
  2. Made a offer on this last night, got accepted. Looks way worse than i suspect it is,all the hard to find parts are there. Said to throw away the box,it was really bad,and it be cheaper to ship using those resin body boxes. Excited to how it will look after getting that goo paint off
  3. Wanted to try somthing diffrent, and it was only $26 including shipping.
  4. Have some Cadillacs molded in dark green, not sure if 1963 or 1964. 1962 Chrysler 300 convertible mint green, 1963 Oldsmobile Starfire convertible mint green and 1967 Fury convertible mint green.
  5. If the Heller kit hold the same standard as they`re truck kit`s i would assume it to be very nice. As for the Mercedes 170,i have a couple of rebuilders and they seem to be very nice,
  6. I am impressed by the craftmanship and spirit to keep this going until you guys have a product to offer, great work! Looks like a very nice kit,and i like the fact it has open hood so the builder can chose where to go from there.
  7. The Caterpillar scale engines are very nice, but as you said, expensive, and probably very heavy since they are made of metal. If the Caterpillar came in v12 configuration i would maby consider, they all seem to be v16. Thanks for the suggestions. Now if i only could master CAD,it could be 3D printed.
  8. Love the 56 New Yorker, they have som fab color combination and a nice blance with the bling.
  9. Very cool Delivery, the paint and details are so nice.
  10. Love the color combination,it looks excellent.
  11. Super clean build. Some of you are wizards with decals.
  12. Cool build,i like you doing somthing diffrent.
  13. Nice Polara and what a diffrence after.
  14. Really nice GTX,love the colors.
  15. Hey thanks for the advice. Not there yet but this could be helpful when time comes.
  16. Was asking for what airbrush to get and got 50 diffrent answers so i headed on youtube and started watching reviews, where people test all around practicality, finesse and build quality,is it easy to clean, finding spares, what comes with it,you know. Decided to go with the Badger Patriot 105 and are very satisfied with it. Is the Oldsmobile among airbrush, sensible but also very well built.
  17. Hello guys. Is there such a thing avaliable anywhere as the Cummins v12 engine? Have only seen the Detroit, both in kit and resin, but never a Cummins. The ideal engine would be late 60s early 70s as the VT-1710 (Pic only for fun.)
  18. Thanks! I look forward to see the 57 4door,those are cool. There are 5-6 european projects, did not want to flood this page lol. You are correct, the engine and trans are the drivetrain out of the Profil 24 S1. I did build an new exhaust manifoil and add a much bigger turbo, and consider do somthing about the plenum as well, even if very cool. Waiting for the new Beemax S1,it will donate hood, grille and small stuff. If i can figure out casting small parts i will make some copies of the grille for own use. The rest i plan to use to bash another Tamiya kit to make an Sport Quattro "stradale" version, most likely curbside. This one where meant to be a street machine.
  19. 48 Lincoln front end and rear fenders on 48 Ford woody. 59 Pontiac is an annual with resin roof and pillars, needs doorhandles and some massage at the rear using Flintstone 59 ambulance rear bumper, tail lights etc. I dont know,i made it using AMT 62 Bel Air and resin junker body roof section. 71 AMT Charger where i lifted the trunk and quarterpanels, scribed some doorlines and made window frames,is more like an "what if".
  20. Knowing Ron Andrews purchased everything R&R it gives me a small hope i might be able to get some spares there in the future. This or back to wasting time on eBay for last remaining spares. Dont feel like spend more time on this Moldehaus circus unless it is up running in a normal way later on.
  21. Great thread and nice projects. Have a couple, not super old.
