  1. i used to post my latest builds on eScale, but the site is down now. as i found this forum during my research works for my mercury project, i now decided to register here as well. so, thats why i'm here now. some of you already noticed that. usually i build motorcycles in scale 1/12. but i have done 4 cars recently - 911 fiat 500, shelby gt350 turbo, '49 merc and porschrod. all of these have one thing in common: none is oob. i plan to share my favourite builds one after one here with you and hope you also like them as i do. greez, da Speedinger
  2. well, probably not, because it was in a german tv-show where i saw it first: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pBRjATOZUoA#t=01m36s there also appear the versions with the ferrari and the lambo engine - but they are too radical for my taste. so i went for the prosche ...
  3. a Kübelrod - a genius idea. i think you should re-do the rollcage and the exhaust - can be done on the finished model and will improve the result a lot!
  4. not a band, but definitely australian:
  5. interesting engine layout: a transverse mounted V12 - is this the Honda F1 RA 272 kit?
  6. my Panigale Hertrampf Roadsters in the father-and-son (1/12 and 1/18) edition
  7. that is correct, but the site is down now.
  8. for those who are not so good in italian: its about a 911 Fiat 500 the story behind is quite simple: an italian mechanic put a porsche engine in an old fiat 500, i saw this on TV and wanted to make the same in scale. i decided not only to use the engine, but to transfer also the complete interior, suspension, wheels and tyres. and the rest was a lot of squeezing and cutting to make everything fit into the tiny fiat. the wheel-arches were completely made of putty and the engine has "lost" its turbo due to lack of space and for optical reasons. but later on the turbo will appear in a different project ... here is the original: http://www.oemmedi.it/en/500_porsche.htm my kits to work with: the engine, interior and suspension without the body-shell: and the result:
  9. Those are so beautiful racecars. If the weren't killing so many divers the would be perfect.
  10. thank u guys. here is another one of the interior (before hiding it behind tiny windows) if anyone knows how this kind of steeringwheel customizing is called - pls. let me know. i could not find anything
