  1. Thanks for the reply jb!
  2. Great Build! Question... how did you do the carbon fiber? Is that a sticker?
  3. Here are a few recent builds of mine. Nissan 350Z/Tamiya TS-56 Brilliant Orange/19 inch Volk G-2's, Subaru Impreza WRC (minus decals)/Tamiya TS-50 Mica Blue/Stock wheels, Mugen Acura Integra/ Tamiya TS-47 Chrome Yellow/ 17 inch Volk TE-37's. Comments, suggestions, criticism always welcomed. Still trying to learn here... Thanks for looking.
  4. I'll take some better pics and re-post.
  5. Recently finished the Nissan Skyline 350 GT (G35) sitting on 19 inch Volk RE30's. Comments, criticism, suggestions always welcomed.
  6. Nice. Looks good buddy.
  7. A couple of completed builds here. Recently finished the Nissan Skyline 350 GT (G35) sitting on 19 inch Volk RE30's.
  8. I agree it would look a ton better with the trim painted. The body needs some division of color. Do you suggest taping and spraying versus taping and hand painting it? I've noticed that hand painting seems to not leave a crisp line.
  9. The wife and I just sold our Porsche Cayenne Twin Turbo a few months back. It was super fast and alot to fun to drive. The time had come to move on and buy something that gets better mpg's lol
  10. Hey Guys. Completed this over the weekend and was decently happy with the outcome. Used Tamiya Italian Red rattle can and Tamiya gloss clear and I think it turned out well. I really like the stance of the GT3. I still can't get up the gumption to try and paint the windom trim again. I suppose I might get an old crappy model to practice on. I welcome all comments, good or bad. Recommendations are much appreciated!!
  11. Great build. Can I ask about the carbon fiber hood? Is that a sticker/decal?
  12. Looking at all of the models on the website it seems that you all really know what you are doing when it comes to the above topic. I have tried masking around the trim and painting it but it nevers leaves a clean line. I have used a fine point Sharpie that looks alright but the color isn't to my liking. Anyone else out there have any other suggestions? It's frustrating to lay down a decent paint job and then jack it all up when you can't leave a good line. Also having the same issue painting the inside edges of the windshields when the handy stickers aren't provided like some of the Tamiya kits. Thanks in advance.
  13. Thanks Carl. I am glad to be here. Have alot to learn.
  14. I've been reading the posts for the past week or so and some of these guys are awesome. Paint jobs, details etc. I hope to be on that level some day.
  15. Thanks man. I have a long way to go but really am start to get back into it.
