Great Build! Question... how did you do the carbon fiber? Is that a sticker?

A couple of completed builds here. Recently finished the Nissan Skyline 350 GT (G35) sitting on 19 inch Volk RE30's.

I agree it would look a ton better with the trim painted. The body needs some division of color. Do you suggest taping and spraying versus taping and hand painting it? I've noticed that hand painting seems to not leave a crisp line.

The wife and I just sold our Porsche Cayenne Twin Turbo a few months back. It was super fast and alot to fun to drive. The time had come to move on and buy something that gets better mpg's lol

Hey Guys. Completed this over the weekend and was decently happy with the outcome. Used Tamiya Italian Red rattle can and Tamiya gloss clear and I think it turned out well. I really like the stance of the GT3. I still can't get up the gumption to try and paint the windom trim again. I suppose I might get an old crappy model to practice on. I welcome all comments, good or bad. Recommendations are much appreciated!!

Great build. Can I ask about the carbon fiber hood? Is that a sticker/decal?

Looking at all of the models on the website it seems that you all really know what you are doing when it comes to the above topic. I have tried masking around the trim and painting it but it nevers leaves a clean line. I have used a fine point Sharpie that looks alright but the color isn't to my liking. Anyone else out there have any other suggestions? It's frustrating to lay down a decent paint job and then jack it all up when you can't leave a good line. Also having the same issue painting the inside edges of the windshields when the handy stickers aren't provided like some of the Tamiya kits. Thanks in advance.

I've been reading the posts for the past week or so and some of these guys are awesome. Paint jobs, details etc. I hope to be on that level some day.

Here is the second build. I really was pleased with the turn out on this one. I love the white against the flat black wheels. I know this is not everyones style on here but I dig the imports and will be churning out many more.

New to the Forum here and loving it so far. This is my first model built in about 15 years when I was a young teenager. I was somewhat happy about how this turned out. One thing that I can stand and will be correcting now that I have the right tools will be the taillights. I will be posting the second completion here shortly that I was very happy with. All comments, suggestions, criticism is welcome as you guys are light years ahead of me. I find all of the posts helpful and informative.
