  1. Remember that and it spurred me to buy the new release.
  2. Hi all, I'm looking for 4x4 parts of a '70s F series (Moebius or Amt) or late '70 early '80s Bronco (amt/mpc), meaning the compact front suspension, transfer case and rear axle with leaf springs. Why, well I'm collecting parts for a future project (see pic), when will it be done, I don't know, but I guess it will give me a peace of mind just the notion I have them Thanks Luc
  3. Also what differs between the original release and this one, are the improvements Revell-Monogram made on the GT, like the fading rocker crease and I think they redesigned front seats too.
  4. Look like Revell just released this one. More pics and info here: 1970 Ford Torino Cobra // Novelties // Revell Online-Shop
  5. Had some time yesterday to dig into the kit some more... Don't think I've ever seen a US kit with underhood fender bolts. They did forget the parting line between the fender and rockerpnl tho, but a few strokes with a BMF scriber or needle file will fix that in under a minute, and yes as Tim and Chuck said the RH C-pillar needs some massaging near the 1/4 window. Also a question; What Tamiya TS spray cans come close to factory spec colors for this one? Thanks! Luc
  6. What I also noticed is that the window trim is Jo-Han like, crisp clean lines, makes applying BMF that much easier.
  7. Just picked up a copy at my local hobby shop. Took a photo of the decal sheet as it probably differs from the North American edition. Also what is part 57 on the chrome tree (gas cap for a racing version?)
  8. Wait a sec, a kit not seen since the late '70s.....could it be, the
  9. Been a few years since, I've visited the store, maybe you can chip in for a plane ticket, LOL! Oops, Webstore! that's a game changer, tho wouldn't mind a trip to CA 😉
  10. Eric, If down the line you're considering a parts pack tow - utility body maybe you can include this, 4x4 goodies, and to wrap it up, a large decal sheet with all kinds of business graphics, like Luc's towing or HVAC service 😉 Cheers Luc
  11. Not on the road but getting new footwear at a local tire center
  12. Same can be said for decals, but It's an old art, a long friend. So maybe its more like old habits.... time will tell. But until then the aftermarket can fill that void, Zoom on already does it for some European and Asian cars brands. Cheers Luc
  13. Well from what I've seen and read so far on this kit, this small team did a realy splendid job. Thank for letting us in the know Tim! Cheers Luc
  14. Me too as in some cases it paves the way to more trim levels, while engraving is kind of a one trick pony. But having said that sometimes decals will do the same trick, tho without the 3D feel the transfers or the 3d decals ( like archer did)
  15. No problemo, the older we get the more often it will happen LOL
  16. I have the '82? red light bandit and you'll have to take the wheels and tires from the Ertl issued SS version to make it stock.
  17. I'm a fan of the last gen facelifted El-Camino's, IIRC the Mpc kit versions weren't stock, so a faux annual would be great if considered, especially when having clear instead of molded-in headlamps. Guess we'll have to wait and see what's curently cooking in the Kat's kitchen.
  18. It's a blank canvas waiting for creative designs and IMHO the best looking Van design ever.
  19. Still waiting on the call of my local hobby shop.
  20. It's just to show the weekend modeler, that these "chromed cap" paint don't deliver what they promise and that you sometimes have to enter a hobby shop, so IMHO he's sending out a good message.
  21. Beautyful crisp and fine molding there. Thanks for the link!
