  1. Winter is over, so it's time to start to make more post-apocalyptic cars/vehicles. Here is post-apocalyptic Jeep;
  2. Thank you! Not so many PA-builders here anymore, but i am glad that you are still making them. Here is my latest (it's actually third) update Matra Rancho.
  3. Lately i've been updating some of my old models that i made years ago and was not very happy with them. At the time i just wanted to build and build afap. Here's a couple of them.
  4. I found this (thin) plastic car from flea market. Slapped some paper, paperboard and cardboard on it. Wheels and other parts from other toys. Humbrol and Revel paints with brush. Sponge for weathering.
  5. This is my latest project. Recycled plastic toy car. Front piece/plow is made from paperboard, paper and cardboard. And some wood. For weathering I used AK- Worn Effects fluid and sponge. https://plus.google.com/photos/103077063313041825061/albums/6037773549744795041?banner=pwa
  6. My latest project "Spiky" was inspired by pwtomczak's "Stick Around" zombie killer car. Saw it when visiting AmericanScaleModel.freeforums.org. Maybe it's not very practical having spikes stuffed with rotting zombie flesh but i think those spikes look good. AK fluids were used for weathering again. https://plus.google.com/photos/103077063313041825061/albums/6020259495798253953?banner=pwa
  7. Finally finished with this one. I made an stupid mistake, so i had to work extra. Next time i maybe think more before acting. Anyways, here is Ferrari 3000, ready to put down zombies and other undesirable characters. And i am already working with new project. https://plus.google.com/photos/103077063313041825061/albums/6009288231806161233?banner=pwa
  8. I hope this goes on forever. I also thought that people post pictures here only because they want to. I'm working with Ferrari at the moment. Week or two and it is hopefully ready.
  9. I bought two cheap and slightly broken diecast cars from flea market and made PA-vehicles out of them. Since i'm not an car person, i have no clue what they are. Not so much freedom as with plastic cars but still lots of fun to make. I used brake fluid with both of them to remove the original shiny black paint. With first one (skull markings) i tried different weathering techniques; hairspray, AK-liquid and sponge. With second (biohazard markings) i used hairspray and salt, and i liked the result very much. So,if i recycle more of diecast toys, i will use that technique again. I also used paperboard, cardboard and paper as usual. https://plus.google.com/photos/103077063313041825061/albums/5987711160132873505?banner=pwa https://plus.google.com/photos/103077063313041825061/albums/5988448709995457473?banner=pwa
  10. Thanks! It's not my painting, its AK- Worn Effects Fluid.
  11. Finally took pictures. This second Mercedes Benz is larger model than the first one.So here we go; Post-Apocalyptic Mercedes Benz#2. https://plus.google.com/photos/103077063313041825061/albums/5987360910999383297?banner=pwa
  12. I've finished two projects,but i have not yet been able to take photos, which i want to take outside. One is that police car shown earlier ( Mercedes Benz) and other one is some unknown model for me. The other one is diecast and since the third rule said no diecast cars i think that i'm not going to put pictures of it here. Working wih metal gives some limitations but it's same good fun as with plastic. I took it apart and used brake fluid for metal parts to remove the paint and then just new paint and i tried this time hair spray and salt system with it. That youtube clip is really nice. So is that car, i like that green/grey paint. Remains me of WW2 RAF camo.
  13. Tory, i like that very much! Is it plastic model or recycled toy? That barbwire is cool. Did you make it or did you got it like that? Took some photos today from that Bad Guyz car. Police car not finished yet. Used AK-heavy chipping fluid again, good stuff! https://plus.google.com/photos/103077063313041825061/albums/5940560517474957505?banner=pwa
  14. A couple of examples of FDF splinter camo for post-apocalyptic builds or something.
  15. Working with these two now. An other police car and bad guyz car.
  16. Took photos today. Vintage Zombie Hunter. So i decided to try both systems; first hairspray and then AK- heavy chipping. I think that because i use normal brush the result might be slightly different than when using air brush. Anyways, AK-fluid was better and easier to use. Also i found out that it works with paperboard too. Plow and part of the turret was made from paperboard. https://plus.google.com/photos/103077063313041825061/albums/5923507822319886961?banner=pwa
  17. My current project. It's going to be vintage style zombie hunter.
  18. Fortunately good weather today also. Was able to take more photos. I'm calling this Greenline since i have no idea (again) what car this is. Tried sponge and brush technique this time. Not so pleased with result. But it could be worse. Next project, i'll try AK-products or hair spray. Have not decided yet. https://plus.google.com/photos/103077063313041825061/albums/5907501905778720817?banner=pwa
