  1. Nice show of cars! The worst part, is that I like them all too and wish I had time to build each one!
  2. I have bought decals from SpotModel but, never a model kit. The decals arrived quickly and well packed. They are say that they will have the tractor Oct. 15th http://www.spotmodel.com/product_info.php?products_id=51348&language=en
  3. Jstfrnds,I am really enjoying your watching your build! How did you cut the tires? I amazed by how clean you got the cuts and how even the joint is! Keep it up! Mark
  4. Get knee deep in another model, and the next new model will be shipped!
  5. I had my cab off and on about 6 times, (which is very hard on paint) and it seemed like the dash area may have been what was hitting the inside of the body. I lowered the dash but, it did not help. I then trimmed the front outside edges of the interior but, that did not help either. I have heard that the window cause the fit problem but, it was not clear to me. I have one more F350 to build and I am going to do a lot of trial fit before I paint anything. I like your work so far Ghoodii I can't wait to see the finished product!
  6. Did you have any trouble getting the cab over the interior tub? My kit was very hard to get the cab to sit down all the way. I love your color scheme and that utility box looks awesome on the truck!
  7. The Meng F350 wheel diameter measures: .817" in the center and .77" at the bead edge....the rim is stepped in the middle to help hold the tire on. The rim is .435" wide.
  8. I tried to put one on the F350 Meng wheel and it was too tight, the tire did not seal around the edges of the rim like the stock tires did. However, it seemed that the wheel could possibly be sanded down in the center to fix the problem. Fireball model works suggested that the tires can be trimmed to fit other wheels, you will have to decided for yourself on that.
  9. Just got FMR-029 BFG 35" Krawlers. It took 3 or 4 days from time of order. The tires look great! They are about the same size as Aoshima Super Swamper but they are a slightly wider at the tread area. The tread pattern is very nice and looks realistic. I am very happy with the purchase. Mark
  10. I have just started working on my kit, and I like it so far. Did you notice that the instructions story text mentioned both the Dually and Single tire rear axle trucks? I get the feeling that it was a prelude to their next kit. Mark
  11. I tried this method recently, and I am still on the fence about this method.... First, paint the tank green to the level that you want the coolant. Then paint the whole resevoir with a thin white primer such as Tamiya brand, or duplicolor. The primer will let the green show through making a transparent effect. See what you think, Mark
  12. Hey Gregg, thanks for the review so far! What diecast kit did the bed come from? Do you think it looks correct in length, and width?
  13. I recently purchased an item from West Virginia and the Ebay software made a prediction of a 3 day shipping time. In my opinion, it would take a miracle to arrive that quickly. Two days later, actual shipping was going to take 5 days. Reality, and estimated shipping are no where close.
