  1. hey everyone. thanks for all the input on the color selection. I was out looking for a matte black paint and I came across a matte hunter green and had to pick it up. I put the coats on the body and it turned out gorgeous. I also started with the gloss black details in the motor boy. what does everyone think? I will be updating this thread with more pictures as it progresses. thanks for checking out my build
  2. was just at a local hobby shop in Ottawa and picked up the street burner edition 86 monte carlo by revell. I am just kinda struggling with color choice. in the picture it is a metallic blue with silver decals and I don't really like it. I was thinking a matte black base with either chrome or gold accents. what does everyone think?
  3. thanks pappy! I really need to invest in a better camera for sure lol and I am all about the stance. the fender got touched when it was still wet and the person who touched it didn't notice and neither did I so it dried bubbly and tried fixing it and that was the best I could do at the time. again it was my first model in a long time but I am actually about to go and work on my 300c build but thought I would check in first and see what everyone was thinking about the Ford. keep in touch and check out the 300 when she is done.
  4. box is 100% straight. my camera really doesn't take the best pictures because I am using my tablet for the time being until I can find my actual camera. I also slammed the truck so that could be the reason it looks different.
  5. this was my first build in a very long time but got it together and have been doing builds constantly for the last few weeks with my room mate. I know this isn't the prettiest Ford Lightning on the forum (drivers side fender) but thought I would throw it up and see what everyone thinks. keep checking in for more builds. I am currently doing a 05 300c so that should be online fairly soon but I am taking my time and trying to put the most detail I could possibly think about it this car.
  6. great build. love the tire stretch!
  7. hey guys and girls. I actually just got into the model building scene recently with my room mate but we have made quite the small collection in the past few weeks. I will surely be uploading pictures very soon of the builds. they don't really compare to some of the ones in the forum but we just got started into the scene and practice makes perfect so they will only get better!
