  1. Looks like you are well one your way to another awesome kit bashed 66 Mustang. If you do not mind I’d Ike to learn more about the LED lights and whether you used the it decal with perhaps a piece of clear sheet plastic sprayed with clear with a green tint. The dash in your other Mustangs look very realistic. If I was to replicate them like they are in my 1:1 72 Mach1 they would be very dim. 🙃 A decade or so ago I replaced the dash bulbs with LED that have a blue tint and are much brighter at night.
  2. Norm of Replicas and Miniatures of Maryland lists a Ford straight six in his catalog made by Scale Resin Detailers.
  3. Just like the 66 convertible you knocked this out of the park.
  4. Thanks for posting the work in progress pictures. Very well executed with all the changes from the stock build.
  5. Nice color and the Revell chassis is so much better than the 55 year old AMT chassis.
  6. Welcome from a fellow Mustang owner and model car builder. Impressive build of your 66 convertible down to the grille, wheels covers, license plate and paint color.
  7. Interesting to go back ad read these post when at the time the Revell Boss 351 and Mach1 kits had not been announced yet. I hope some of the USA distributors of Revell of Germany get the 007 Mustang by the end of this year.
  8. That looks good. I hope also Revell does a 73 Mach1 version which should be pretty easy with the NACA hood, 351 CJ with stock valve covers, and correct 73 Mach1 decals. Maybe slip in the ram-air plenum for bonus points.
  9. As seen on Facebook Ford GT40 page (pictures from Lemans museum).
  10. https://sites.google.com/view/polecatdecals/home Polecat made custom decals for me for this Mustang drag car.
  11. Very nice detailed build of the Revell model with the kit decals of a less famous livery.
  12. Very nice. It looks good in black
  13. BLUE OYSTER CULT. I’ve seen them several times and they still sound great and unlike bands than no longer together they could actually play at the ceremony. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blue_Öyster_Cult
  14. No inside info on what’s going on with MBW but Harold (aka Brad) is a pleasure to work with and I’ve bought many resin kits and parts directly from him.
  15. Norm was at the ACME show last month. He emailed me his latest catalog which i did screen shots and uploaded here. Due to the cost he no longer takes credit cards.
  16. Thanks Bill for posting the hour plus long video. It was my first time to ACME so I brought 14 models as I’m not sure when I’ll be back since I’m moved to AZ next year.
  17. Thanks for posting Rich. I think this is the first one I have seen built. It looks like the IMC GT40 kit only larger with the same fitment issues of all the openings panels.
  18. Gramps46 should have more insight on the kit. Mine is boxed up in storage. I’m sure you will never hear anyone say this is the most accurate GT40 MKI available. 😉. However, it’s the only one in this scale and if you never built one it will hold it’s value since the chances of it ever be reissued are slim to none.
  19. I’m curious if the standard C code air cleaner is included. This air cleaner was for the non ram-air cars which did not have the twist locks or the black or silver paint on the hood.
  20. Was MPC confused back in the day? At least Steven’s is issuing a Mustang and not a Challenger.
  21. Over 900 models were on display. Nice to see Leonard, Dave, Matt and Norman make the trip down from Maryland. I wish I had more time to find more MCM members but the time went by very quickly. It was a very well run event and a lot of vendors selling paints, kits, decals, tools and everything else model related. Here is just a sample of the high level of quality of models at the show.
