    • Site Upgrade   11/18/2017

The Forums will be down, Friday, November 24th starting 8 AM PST for upgrade. We'll probably be down until 1PM PST, but it might be longer. I'm doing a major forum software upgrade, so I expect the forums to operate somewhat differently when we come back online.  Update: I've had a medical issue come up, and this window might not get used. If it doesn't, I'll push the maintenance back to Saturday, 2 December.

Thanks to all. Chris, steps to get a good paint job   good prep is vital  ,good acrylic paint, mixed well and thinned to  flow rather than drip ( I use Jo Sonja products) ,good brush I use a synthetic sable filbert. The most important steps- many thin coats, let the paint flow gently on to the surface and don't try to push the paint once it starts to dry. On this car I clear coated with 3 coats of Jo Sonja satin varnish brushed on, For a high gloss I find Tamiya rattle cans work well.
