  1. Thx. Stan good idea as i am just jumping out of the box and wanting to be able to chop and match up chassis in my builds to come . i also want to work on the engine compartment on some upcoming builds . get rid of stock fender wells and scratch build tube upper frame rails and put 1 of those aftermarket Gibson Engines in.
  2. Thx. Rob I am seeking a 70' Super Bee on Ebay right now and yes in the near future when i get back to work full time i will get more into fabrication and that type of custom work I have a few project ideas in my head already and the nearest Hobby shop has a nice rack of plastics !!! looking forward to take my building and customizing to the next level sooooooon !!!!
  3. Hey all, I really want to do this 49 Merc. in Pro Street style right now it is sitting on a 67 Chevelle SS chassis but it is slightly short . What chassis is closer to this wheelbase ??? other suggestions for this build would be appreciated too !!THX

  6. I look forward to see your build Larry, I am sure its going to be a real beauty !! What color are you using for the body ?? Thx. Blair i will paint the holes in rims or drill them out for true holes !!
  7. Thank you Joe looking forward to build many more Pro Street and some Pro Stock kits done my way !!!! I love old muscle cars and like them even better when they are all beefed up, Blown and tubbed out !!
  8. yes the decals are from the kit with a few coats of clear laquer on top !! I usually do not build to look like the box i build it to look more like something i would drive if i had the money to build the real thing !!
  9. thank you !! no texture on the paint lol just poor lighting !!
  10. Here is my 1st build after my 2 months in the hospital last summer ! missing some detail which is a combination of my pain and pain meds lol....now that i can sit for longer periods of time I plan to build many more once i get back to work and have the money to do it right !!!
  11. Thank you Stan !!! I still have some detail work and a few more parts to put on !! PRO STREET for me buddy !
  12. Thank you John !! i did this on a very tight budget but i am very interested in taking my builds to the next level by purchasing some detail products to do better wiring and plumbing !! i used Testors paint on this one because of the particular shade of blue i was after. I really don't care for the model spray paints they are very thick in my opinion. I typically use automotive spray paint with many coats of clear laquer then hand rub. My painting process involves my refrigerator and a hairdryer since it is very humid in Florida i must control my paint temperature during the drying process. I also plan to build a few select kits that do not come pro street and turn them into pro street cars as that is my favorite style old pro street muscle cars !!! Shane i am on that facebook page !!
  13. thank you all i really appreciate
