They have larger boxes, sometimes they sell for 5 bucks or so. I've scored a few bigger boxes as well as display boxes too.

Wow! They are about 10 minutes from me too Clayton. Strange! Blown away they had the new 71 Fords the other day. I remember thinking hobby peeps' model kit prices should be better considering they probably make a mint on all that R/C stuff. Only been to Pegasus a couple of times, and would stop by a hobby shop in Whittier, but can't remember the name. I think it was on Greenleaf St. across from the theatre. Pretty sure they're gone though.

I don't recommend going to Hobby People, but sometimes I end up there for a tool or some metal. They are up in Pasadena off of Hill Street., after you're done you can go to Tommy's down the street for a chili burger and fries.

Just wondering if the search function on Scalefinishes is working for anyone else... or is it just me? I need Honda Root beer brown and thought about looking there but couldn't find it.

This phenomena has reared it's ugly head more than once for me. Try a cut so you can see how much or how little the cut end rolls down, careful not to clean up the tube beyond the dimensions you require. Sometimes I use my Zona saw and a mitre box, just depends which cigar box is closest to me.

Read something about that on their Facebook page. Not sure if anyone has seen any Test shots at any shows.
