  1. Thanks for the pics fatkidd. I think it is to another show, but I really like that album. I hope you don't mind I saved your first pic (the black Buick) as that is a car I had a hand in it's design. Let me know if it is not OK. Mike
  2. Or this. I love it. Check out the comparison around 6:20. Mike
  3. Great work so far. Keep us posted. I'll be following. Mike
  4. Glad you joined and even more glad you are doing plastic. I remember when you made it to the meetings. The club is still around. Are you still in Lancaster? Mike
  5. Always like toned paper. Nice style. It reminds me of another auto artist. Good stuff. Mike

    Some of my Art

Great stuff. Love the feel of real hand drawn artwork. Mike
  7. You can also use the rims in the R/M Monte Carlo green lowrider kit, grind the lip that holds the tire on, and put Pegasus sleeves on them for the rears. I have made a couple sets but have not painted the centers as of yet. I want to. Mike
  8. OK, I am starting mine as well. For some reason I can not get the front wheel wells (the chassis) to go up into the opening so you can't see it. I found one problem with it last night, but I was wondering if you had the same issue and how you fixed it. It is coming along great so far. Mike
  9. Wow, that looks really close the one I had. It was an 81 Conqestor. White on bottom & top with that same blue in the middle. The interior was more blue and a little darker. Looks great so far. Mike
  10. Yes someone did. They should be getting in touch shortly. Mike
  11. Lookin good so far! Yes, it is an old kit that has had went thru some changes, but as you are finding out, it turns into a really nice kit with some work. You should have no problem with the interior on this one (I did the same on mine). It is probibly a little late, but with the frame getting so rough in the later releases, you can swap it with the Boyd Smoothster versions for a more updated chassis and better stance. Mike
  12. Turned out good. I think they look good in two tone. Mike
  13. Very cool! I may be a little partial since I owned one for a while, but that turned out great! Mike
  14. Very nice style. I also prefer to do things by hand, though I am starting to do more on the computer. To me anyway, I can be more creative working by hand. I had a great teacher who told me there are no accidents. So many things come to me while I am feeling them out. I have seen what you mentioned of younger people working a piece on the computer and not exploring other ideas. I will have to look for that paper. Again, very nice work! Mike
  15. Wow, thats looking great! What did you use for the lights? Great uniform color and division. Mike
  16. I like the ims that came on the chevy van with the car trailor. The holes look more accurate. Mike
  17. I like it. It looks really nice. I just had a couple of questions. Did the L-88 have aluminum heads? I was just wondering why it doesn't have the regular L-88 air cleaner on it. Please don't take this the wrong way. I really do like it and the photos are great, these are just a couple of things I was wondering about. Mike
  18. Very cool! It looks like it was a little rough. The decals look good. How hard was it to get them to stick to the flat black? Mike
