Started mocking this up today, the body is the jimmy flinstone 1961 Starliner the chassis and bumpers are from the amt 1961 galaxie. The hood is another resin piece from eBay and I had a set of Pegasus rims sitting around and they look perfect on it!

I finished this one up a few days ago, this kit in this color has a real impact on me as it was actually my first model I ever built at least 10 or so years ago. The original is loooooong gone but I've always wanted to do another as a tribute to my first build this time around it came out nearly flawless!

Out of curiosity what would you guys recommend for airbrushing bodies, hoods and other Larger body pieces. I know there's a bunch of manufacturers out there like mcw.

I started this kit a few weeks ago with my intentions of it being a bone stock z/28 but I've been reading more about the high performance gm dealers of the 60s yenko, nickey, Baldwin etc. so I've decided to make it look like a day two car that one of the famed gm dealers or tuners would have put some mild performance touches on. I'll have more pics as I make more progress tips and comments are always welcome!

thanks for the advice! I'm using tamiya titanium gold x-31 for the main interior and model masters jet exhaust for the dash and smaller details it's close to the two tone on the 1:1 maybe a tad bit to bright on the dash but it works for me
