  1. Started mocking this up today, the body is the jimmy flinstone 1961 Starliner the chassis and bumpers are from the amt 1961 galaxie. The hood is another resin piece from eBay and I had a set of Pegasus rims sitting around and they look perfect on it!
  2. Very nice so far!! This is a kit I'm on the fence about buying I'll be watching
  3. it's from the revell 1968 mustang GT I had one left over and thought it would add a neat littile touch
  4. thank you Rex! I know I need to I've been busy today but I do plan on doing a few small detail things in the next day or so I hope
  5. I finished this one up a few days ago, this kit in this color has a real impact on me as it was actually my first model I ever built at least 10 or so years ago. The original is loooooong gone but I've always wanted to do another as a tribute to my first build this time around it came out nearly flawless!
  6. I'm building the amt 1969 cougar eliminator as the rare boss 302 version and the only thing I don't have are the boss 302 decals on the fender does anyone know of a place I'd be able to find them.
  7. Wow!!!!! I love the engine choice as well nicely done
  8. I did I have two other t bolts to build eventually so I'll have to give it a try
  9. I finished this one up yesterday morning and I'm beyond proud of how it turned out! The decals were defanitly tricky but they came out pretty decent.
  10. Very nice! I have this kit to build, yours has defanitly given me some ideas
  11. Out of curiosity what would you guys recommend for airbrushing bodies, hoods and other Larger body pieces. I know there's a bunch of manufacturers out there like mcw.
  12. Has anyone used his resin body before? I was able to order one earlier and I know the amt 60 Starliner is used for most of the parts but what will I need in the form of bumpers and other trim?
  13. The engine is almost finished I added a mad modeling distributer for more detail.
  14. Thank you Dan! Some update pictures, the valve covers and intake are from mad modeling and the floor mats are from plastic dreams
  15. Im defanitly going to get one but I'm still waiting for a detailed 72 Torino
  16. I started this kit a few weeks ago with my intentions of it being a bone stock z/28 but I've been reading more about the high performance gm dealers of the 60s yenko, nickey, Baldwin etc. so I've decided to make it look like a day two car that one of the famed gm dealers or tuners would have put some mild performance touches on. I'll have more pics as I make more progress tips and comments are always welcome!
  17. thanks for the advice! I'm using tamiya titanium gold x-31 for the main interior and model masters jet exhaust for the dash and smaller details it's close to the two tone on the 1:1 maybe a tad bit to bright on the dash but it works for me
