  1. The interior is done. I took the liberty of woodgraining the dash. Also, I planted some solder sticks hoping to harvest headers.
  2. Of course, now that we are more than halfway across the conversion, I find the rest of the photos of the Turbo V8. So I'll build one anyway and we'll stick it somewhere some day. I remember thinking that it was great workmanship when I had seen it.
  3. Wow! That was supposed to be red or purple. 😏
  4. With a homemade somewhat improbable front axle the wheels are in the right place and the engine will de able to settle in.
  5. Looking for a redépurole color for the upholstery I opened a can of Humbrol that is possibly over 40 years old. Lo and behold, it is still good.
  6. So....it will be sorta like this. Made some engine mounts off a truck crossmember.
  7. Opened up the front of the frame by removing the floor panels like Dennis did above. Widened the space at the front of the floor to accomadate the wider engines. Also picked a set of wheels in the stash
  8. OK.It will be one of those two. An LS V12 with crossram injection or a supercharged 312.
  9. The engine is a flathead with finned aluminum heads and a home made turbo application. I was trying to find the car to copy the engine but the owner has passed on and I could not find the car.
  10. Doing some engine work.
  11. I had purchased this kit with the intent of doing a coupe version of this lovely turbochrged coach. However, when I went looking for it to get detailed photos of the engine, I found out the owner had died and no one knew if the car was still in town. There was a Y block in a bag in the box, so I might do a mild rod with it or go alittle wilder with a FI V12.
  12. Yes, that would be an appropriate one as well.
  13. This one won't be working too hard on the shelf, the V800 should catch it.
  14. Should I put a CAT engine in it?😏
  15. The rims and hubs are Tamyia X-11 Chrome silver andthe spokes are Model Master Metalizer Magnesium.
  16. Earlier I built a lowboy by Double Take replicas. So now I need a heavy duty tractor. So this Paystar will do fine.
  17. thanks Michael. it is Dupli-Color Hampstead Green.
