  1. Thanks for the tips Jim. I'll have to give your technique a try, it looks really good.
  2. Very nice build, love the detail. You may have the answer I've been looking for. What did you make your brackets that hold the fuel and brake lines in place out of? They look good.
  3. I'm not really looking for wire looms, GM used metal clamps that bolted to the frame to hold the 3/8 in. fuel line in place. I was wondering what some people make them out of.
  4. I'm trying to get a little more detailed on my next build and wanna put fuel and brake lines on. I'm building a 69 nova and was curious about the way they are routed on the real car. Where can I get pictures? Also, what does everybody use for the brackets that hold them on? Thanks for the help.
  5. Does anybody have any good ideas on how to create the heater hose bracket that was found on most GM cars in the late 60s? It attached to the passenger side inner fender and held both heater hoses out of the way. Pictures would be great. Kevin
  6. Thank you all for the help and quick answers. I'm sure I'll have some more.
  7. Hello everybody, it's been a few years since I last built a model. Now that I'm older I wanna get back into it, I think I can get a little more detailed. My question is, I wanna run stock fuel lines on a big block nova that I'm building, I found some .025 inch thick music wire at Hobby Lobby. It looks like it will be easily bent but is it the right scale for the 1:25 scale model? My next question is what does everybody use for heater hoses? Thanks for the help, I hope to be on the forum a lot more.
