  2. Finish this for a friend, Futurattraction pro stock Fairmont body, chassis plate and engine kit. Lot of fabrication on this one but enjoy every minute of it. Hope you like it.
  3. 1320wayne and John Pol, thanks for the info, will try to locate one of these, I know it wont be easy but will try. And yes, this is the same model that is now available from SMH Resins, thanks to all for the kind comments, greatly appreciated. I hope to do a 1980's Challenger pro stock body sometime in the near future.

I am about to start building some vintage resin 1/25 Pro Stock Dodge Arrows ,in the photos are the in progress master body/parts that where unfinished/rough at that moment, the model is finished and cast by now, finished master in last pictures...tailights are cast molded in clear red, master pattern shown , do any one knows where to find good quality Billy the Kid and California Flash decals to do these cars? The Glidden car is the easy one to do since most of the needed decals can be found in two of Slixx Glidden sets. Any help will be appreciated, most interested in the Billy The Kid decals at the moment.
  5. Yes is a resin transkit, made by Missing Link Resin. You will need the AMT Ford 1970 Galaxie police interceptor for chassis and other small police details. Thanks for the kind words about my model.

  7. My favorite police car, I love this car styling and look since I was a kid!!! In these photos the antenna is missing, but I added latter.
  8. Those are some great memories!!! Thanks for sharring. Is great hearing and getting the information from the people involved in these racing programs and all the details that can help us create more accurate replicas of of favorite drivers rides.

MercurXR4TI, Thanks, is a late 1980's Monogram Monte Carlo chassis, you can use it as a base to do a Mopar NASCAR front/back suspension set-up or use it without modifications..well a little bit to lower the ride stance if you like it a little lower like I did in mine....it will fit perfectly in the Mirada/Imperial bodies.
  10. My at the time on progress Imperial, no "glass" yet and the front bumper/lower airdam is still unpainted. I am using one of the resin bodies from SHM from my master body. By now the Arrington car is fully finished, have to take new pictures.
  11. Yes is a very nice article, have it on file and is full color. I use it as part of the referencences when I did the body master of the NASCAR Imperial now available as is the Mirada in resin.
  12. Yes the above Arrington car is an Imperial...not the Mirada, Arrington used Mirada,Cordaba and Imperial race cars, the Cordoba was only different in the front end style/design from the Mirada. Marcis was another NASCAR driver who used a Mirada.

The credit for the above Petty test Mirada picture go to NC Marrk via GaPettyFan forum member, THANKS to the two of them a long debate on how it was when it was tested by Richard Petty team is over. Those superb color pictures of the test Petty Magnum are great, I used them to build my black primer Petty Magnum some time back, I saw some of these on another dedicate NASCAR board, thanks for sharing them, it was a BIG visual help in doing the model and have more and detailed pictures of the Petty Magnum race car from the early start!

Must give Full credit to GaPettyFan and the diligence in investigating and FINALLY obtaining a photo of the january Petty test Mirada race car in a side profile...yes...the mistery of the look and if the Petty Mirada was in primer...black to some, grey to other...have been put to rest...for good, as GaPettyFan said and did with his model...the Petty test Mirada was fully painted in the form latter used by the Daytona winning Buick. I searched for year for a side photo of the Petty test Mirada without luck...until I saw that B/W side profile!..by now I have painted my Petty test Mirada in the two tone colors and waiting for the STP logos for the back panels and hood...also visible in that photo...a Good Year decal on top of the front wheel openings, now I have a replica of one if not the most elusive and less documented Petty cars.
  15. SUPERB work and craftmanship, the details and modifications truly make the best in this scale. Love the color combination inside and out, truly a classic look. Once more magnificent work from all angles.

  18. Your conversion is Coming along very nice and will look forward for more updates. I am doing something similar with my Lincoln, but go in another way in the chassis, I know it will not be correct/factory stock but since I wanted a street/performace/custom Lincoln I used the mid/late 1980's Mustang chassis/interior, it almost fit perfectly, some cuts here and there in thei interiors, used the Buick Grand National "BBS style" wheels and tires, here is an old photo of this project, that is still pending to be finished...some day!!
  19. Is looking really nice and is the model year which I most like of this type of Crown Victoria, looking forward for more updates, if these become a reality I will at least get two!!
  20. This looks spectacular, and the detail is superb! the photoecht detail is simply amazing. I have to finish my 1978 Glidden car which is using one of your bodies, I also removed the front clip, trunk but only opened one door, the driver side, Scott casting was/is so sharp and beautifuly cast that made these modification an easy choice for me.....as well as the engine which is also from Scott, great piece!!
