  1. Yes. Metal frame, but body is plastic unfortunately. This is a late production Pocher so they were doing more plastic parts
  2. I have more kits than brains or lifetime left to build them all, but this new year I decided to do the opposite of restraining and not buying kits I am going to fill in the missing holes of kits I want in collections so, a couple Tamiya F1 1/20 scale cars are coming….the first and I got the old repop‘d Orange Crate kit to see if I can build it better than a pre teen did way back long ago
  3. Ahh Piper Emergency surgery just before Christmas for eating a hunk of towel and lodging it into her stomach/small intestine Homer donut for a week but she bounced back quickly despite a cold shaved tummy in the snow
  4. Ok here is the link to Spot models’ decal set for the Miss Budweiser https://www.spotmodel.com/product_info.php?products_id=57563&language=en&utm_source=notifications_product&utm_medium=mail&utm_campaign=c21577&utm_content=57563
  5. I have done the request to make the decals public Looks like about $30 USD I will send a link when I hear from Spot Models
  6. I usually get myself a big self spoiling kit at Christmas for myself as family does not. This year, just some new nuts and a Lightning McQueen
  7. Hey I will look into the decal site after work and find you a link They were made by Spot Models
  8. I was asked by a kind gentleman to post him the instructions. Thought it best to share with all. Pretty simple instructions; five steps plus the beauty shot. Hope that helps
  9. Aaahhh I am so late to the party here Just loving everything you are doing, especially the in progress work photos with the car on jacks and such…so cool Digging out my kit’s photos…I got a Fujimi 356 from an auction and inside it came with James Dean’s 550 Spyder car body as well Also the larger classy Revell kit
  10. Looking good, nice and smooth grey primer😎 Summer has less modelling time, but been priming mountain bike frames for my son in a similar prime. Not used a spray can in ages.
  11. Hey you are still in here messing about with this Bull I am always so amazed at your abilities with styrene…bending tubes, making hinges and scratching out full parts. And then how clean it all looks, like it just belongs there with perfect edges and no schmutz of melted plastic everywhere. I do not have that skill with styrene and have to resort to brass and other metals and it still does not look as ‘professional’ shall I say Nice work bud
  12. Well that would be cool indeed. 3M miles holy crabs The engine set up is of interest to me,as just the overall body appearance vs the smaller kit truck I thank you in advance and please take your time and be safe when taking pics, there is absolutely no rush Cheers👍🏻😎
  13. So sad, another legend gone We had margaritas last night and made a toast to Jimmy Buffett
  14. Nostalgia purchase for me. Vivid memories of building this as a kid. Local seller, not stupid money and immaculate condition
  15. I did not know Dave at AITM had passed away, sad news Had some discussion with him a couple yrs ago and went another route for the build. If you read the start of the thread, I have an entirely different kit to use as the base and still will go that way with some 3D printing along the way. This is a nostalgia kit for me as I made it as a kid and I did a pretty good job with a mediocre kit.
  16. This kit fell into my lap a couple weeks ago. Local seller, semi reasonable price, immaculate kit It came on my last day of work before a vacation so I only snapped a couple pics and poked through the box at lunch then had to leave it I am eyeballs deep at work, building a sailing ship model and doing woodwork for a ski room 4 hrs away from home…. So not likely that this will get started anytime soon
  17. Thanks for commenting At least it was me that knocked it over and not the cat or my wife dusting Nobody to blame but me 😀
  18. Might wanna do an isopropyl alcohol rinse first and get all excess resin residue off. Then a UV light or sunshine
  19. Had a little retail therapy last month before summer kicks in. The stash does not need to be added to, but here we are
