I use Photobucket, and have had no problems whatsoever (aside from the fact that they routinely dump my images).

OK, you guys are good.

Me too
A firm believer in MAP
The real irony is that I printed a Google map, then unthinkingly, loaded it into my trunk with some kits I was taking to trade. This, combined with the fact that I ended up on the wrong road, but with a very similar name, just added to the frustration and confusion. By the time I figured out what was what, it was time to just give up and drive back home.

Does it actually look like George Reeves? It's almost impossible for me to tell from the photos.

Be prepared to spend some time. I noticed quite a few duplicates. That can't help on the voting. I did vote for quite a bit but I limited it to things that I would buy for myself, spending my money. Possibly lots of good stuff and if they would re-issue a few older kits listed that would be nice too.
One would presume that Revell can compile complete lists from the database, combining all the duplicates and votes. I added several aircraft models I'd like to see released, in scales never offered before.

I remember being 10 years old, having lost my only brush to stiffening since I had no turps, and resorting to painting a model with Q-Tips. I had to laugh recently when I came across an old built up that had been painted that way... those tell tale signs like cotton fibers in the paint!
Once, while adding polyurethane to a base, I ended up with a gnat stuck in the urethane. I left him there, sort of a memorial to his misfortune.

My roommate pigs out on roasted garlic from time to time, and I have to wear an OSHA approved respirator when he does.

No GPS in your vehicle either? I never use one as I've used MAP back in the 60's and it still works today.
Nope. '95 Cougar, so no techie stuff included.

You guys are all over the place. Too cool.

Here's another old one. Hint: model cars are used as stand-ins for the real ones in one scene.
I'm probably off by a country mile, but it reminds me of "Invasion of the Saucer-Men".

I've noticed something here. I miss 90% of these, and when there is one I can get, I'm too late.
I have the same problem.

What is "moderation" ???
It's what Harry P. does.

Not today, but last night was our clubs annual swap meet, and I completely bungled it, leaving the house too late, taking a wrong exit off the highway, and driving around lost for the better part of a half hour in an area that I have no familiarity with at all. Left my cell phone at home, so naturally I couldn't call anyone for directions. Irked? Oh yes.

It does seem to happen with me from time to time too. In the past year, I've had about a dozen kits given to me, including some fairly expensive ones, like this Tamiya F4U-1A Corsair, as well as a few others. All of these gifts seemed to follow on the heels of some altruistic generosity or another on my part, given that I had no expectation of return from my act(s).

It wasn't today but it's been in the recent past. I've had the 1/48 HiPM version of this kit for about 17 years but when the new 1/48 Hobbyboss version came out a couple of months ago I just had to get it. It is 200% better quality over the HiPM version(and about 3 lbs lighter due to all the absence of flash! lol ).
The new 1/48 Hobby Boss BV 141B
For what it may be worth to you, Valiant Wings has just recently released this book on the BV 141.

I couldn't agree more, Joe. These newer generation large scale Tamiya kits, are a wonder to behold. I'm already compiling a list of AM that I'd like to eventually throw at it.

No idea, never used it. I use the Testor stuff (world's most expensive white vinegar) as a "wetting agent," which is all about 90% of modern decals need. If a decals doesn't snuggle down after that dries, I hit it with Walther Solvaset (which might be the world's most expensive diluted rubbing alcohol).
I've got a bottle of Champ solution (the hobby equivalent of battery acid) for the really difficult decals.

Looks very nice so far. I did something similar in my old hobby cave.

Every time I painted in this fashion, it looked like I used a toothbrush,... or a mop.

Asylums are full of folks that would anxiously buy this, assuming they're allowed to have money.

Therapeutic? Yes, I think so. It's a great way to temporarily distract myself from a far less than idyllic existence, and allows for some expressing of the self that I don’t seem to be able to attain otherwise.

The style seems most appropriate. I'd probably both have a fit and snap, if someone were to give me one of those.

This is the closest I've come to having my own pet for decades now. Duke, my neighbors pooch, who has adopted me as his own human.

Guess you need a hint or two? OK. It was the last black-and-white film for this director and his favorite 300-lb. actor who went by one name.
The Seven-Ups.
I want to say "The 7 Ups."
You guys are good.

For a moment there, I thought you were referring to me.
