  1. Heard on the weather Channel today that the Big Island has seen up to 4 foot of rain ! That is hard to to even visualize!
  2. The cars of the 30's thru the 70's were sculpted works of art. You could see the heart and soul of the creator in the design and it was all pretty much done by hand! Now they have all this high tech stuff (cad) at their disposal and can't come up with anything that does not have any appeal other than that of a jelly bean! They can claim all they want that they design for comfort too because I have yet to see a car that does not seem to be built to hold anyone over 5 foot tall or weighing more than 120 pounds!
  3. Hey! That guy was the singer and guitarist for Procal Harum back in the 60's! Robin Trower! Somebody's Calling I believe the songs title is!
  4. Yeah, but life sure would be boring without one once in a while!
  5. I lost a cousin and one heck of a great guy on the USS Forrestal so I won't go there. Neil Simon was a great play write. May he rest in peace.
  6. It's a pretty obscure song (except maybe to Monkees fans) but I think one of their best penned by Mike Nesmith!
  7. You just may......... be close. They had a tv show
  8. I saw when you walked by The lovelight in your eye And I knew I must try To win you more than just a friend, I'm starting near the end, And I go again.
  9. Great 60's band! In Jr High and High School I was in a band and we covered some of their songs! Itchycoo Park and Lazy Sunday Afternoon were the most requested of them!
  10. and I'm still searching for a grill and taillights for a 55 Plymouth Belvedere.
  11. Yes on the seats. The center seat is smaller. The original kit I had the front wheels were the same as the latest issues!
  12. Nice looking Caddy long roof! I hope it is bagged or it may wind up stuck in the sand sitting that deep in the weeds!
  13. Bare Metal Foil and the quarter windows were a headache to do!
  14. Build a few years back. This was my second attempt at this kit and this time I got it finished. The doors are glued shut as I could not get the hinges to work proper.
  15. I tried to build this kit back when it was first released and it was an utter failure that met it's fate to a black cat firecracker! (wish I still had it today) You did a fantastic job on a difficult to build kit! I have only seen 4 or 5 of these that were ever finished!
  16. Great looking first generation Charger! Great pick on the color too!
  17. Another great looking buggy with a different twist! Orange twist to be exact!
  18. Very very nice! Gotta love them old Studes!
  19. Wish we had an Ollies here! I could use one that didn't cost a leg!
  20. Don't forget the bike is on the roof when you put it in the garage!
  21. I had to remove over an eighth of an inch out of my rear bumper. Mine is molded in gray soft plastic th a is terrible to clean the flash off of!
  22. Unfortunately the plow was missing so used the push bar. In the winter most had a power start unit the would put in the back that was gas powered.
  23. Another one built some time back. Tried and build it like one that a local service station had when I was a kid. Had what was left if the old Baja Jeep kit and parts from another later Jeep kit. Didn't have the doors for the half cab so made my own from a couple hoods that were in the parts box and added fictitious business information!
