  1. Beautiful job! I like it! I can almost hear that Detroit run.
  2. The shifter is Evergreen plastic rod and the collar at the top is aluminum tube. The ball is a straight pin. The buttons are scrap styrene.
  3. Thanks Jim!! Thanks Victor! These were everywhere back in the day! I actually had one given to me but didn't want to pay the cost to have it towed to my house. Thanks Chris!! Thanks Warren!! Thanks Bob!! I thought that it needed a ramp if it was going to be a moving van instead of the lift gate. Thanks Mario!! Thanks Steve! The ride height of the truck is pretty close to the 1:1. I did lower the box a little as it is a moving van. Thanks Philippe Thanks Tommy!! The good thing about these old trucks is when that 345 let go, the entire front end could be taken off, radiator and all, in just a few minutes, with just a few bolts removed. Of course, you also needed a few people to help set the front end off as well. Thanks Larry!! Thanks Scott! That's a cool truck that you have there! I have the resin cab myself that I hope to build one day. Looking forward to seeing yours built! Thanks Andy!! Thanks Noah!! Thanks Brian!! Thanks Al! The front wheels are something that I cobbled together. They began life as rear spokes. I think that they were in the Revell Australian W900 KW kit. I cut them down, added a rim and a hub. They are not 100% perfect, but they look the part.
  4. Very impressive! Very impressive indeed! Excellent work!
  5. Thanks for all the comments guys! This one has the little back window. It is starting to look like a truck now.
  6. Wow! Amazing! I hope that you didn’t forget to put fuel in that filter before you put it on, otherwise she might be a pain to get started.😀
  7. You are very welcome! I knew that you would ace this one and you did. This is by far the best looking 7000/7400 ever built in scale. You nailed the interior for sure! Excellent work as always! You are truly an artist!
  8. This may not be relevant to your situation, but I have had this happen on a bad resin cab before. The resin wasn’t mixed properly(you could see the swirls throughout the cab) and the paint wouldn’t dry in a couple of spots. The paint and the improperly mixed resin reacted with each other somehow and the paint just would not dry.
  9. These are nice quality and fast service as well. It is a little hard to see, but this one is painted with Molotow.
  10. This is a W900 from Jamie, it will be powered by a C-15 from Jamie as well. It will be on the Revell W900 chassis. The trailer is by Gary Wallace. I think that it was probably out of Dave Natale’s collection. I bought it off of Ebay from Anthony Natale. I have been wanting to build a frameless dump for a long time. I’m going to try to make a case for this as well, because I don’t have anywhere to put it when I am done.😀
  11. I’m taking notes! I’m putting a C-15 in my W900 project. It won’t look nearly as good as this one though.
  12. This is the cab mastered by Charles Rowley. He also did the decals. It was cast by AITM. The chassis is an extended AMT C cab Ford chassis. The engine is from the Ertl IH Scout. The box is from an AMT Louisville Short hauler.
  13. Very nice!! I like the sleeper that you have come up with!! The lighting is excellent!! That is something that I have always wanted to try, but never have. Excellent work!! This thing is a beauty!!
