  1. I have the red fire dozer on an AMT lowboy with no issues.
  2. Thank you everyone, workin on my Lonestar screamin eagle now..next on the list.
  3. One sweet low ridin Pete! Looks awesome, your interior is very nice. Great details dude !!
  4. I use lacquer paints and enamels and us testor model master high gloss clear over them all. Never had a problem with it affecting the lacquer,it is enamel clearcoat. It is the one that gives me the constant shine I want.
  5. They sell them on ebay from time to time. Have to look to see what the company was called. Look up lazy modeler that was on the package of the flame masking
  6. Didnt have any problems with adhesive left on the truck. A couple small bits stuck ,but came right off using the mask and dabbing them off. I let my base coat sit for a couple days to get nice and dry, like the instructions said with the paint mask. I would use the mask again for different designs for different trucks. Very easy to use for great results. Thanks for the compliments. Hope the rest of the rig comes together as well.
  7. This is my take on the IH Lonestar. It is the 2nd one I have and I decided to give it a unique paint job. Purple met. Lacquer base,w/easy flame paint mask. Flamin orange red and gold blend throughout the flames to make this rig pop. 1 coat of clear and waitin for another ,but she looks great. Dhould look good all chromed out. Enjoy ,Jim. more pics to come....
  8. first times using bare metal foil around the door sills. Take some time but looks good when you're finished. Still gotta few little things left but it turned out well. Thanks everyone for all the great comments!
  9. Well here it is pretty much finished. Just need company lettering on the doors and minor details . The stripe is orange center w/white outline. Simple ,but I like it. Thx for following, look for more trucks comin soon.
  10. Maybe those Erb decals that came with the trailer would look good on this unit, dont know if they ran KW hoods or not?
  11. Making a chain locker for rear of truck ,still in progress..but couldnt wait to see it with a trailer..
  12. , thanks I love these Kenworth snap kits. Easy assembly and end result is pretty good. Still got a ways to go going to put a body-colored headache rack on the rear
  13. Been watchin the builds on here and decided to post one I'm working on. The Kenworth snap kit builds into a nice unit if you add your own touches to it. This one is flame red lacquer with two tone brown /tan interior. I stretched the frame about an inch. Still comin up with a stripe design for it,but thought I would get it on here. Great builds fellas, keep it up !!
  14. Did you use a Italeri roof or floor for your frame ? Those tabs look familiar...this is giving me some great ideas. Your builds look great, keep it up !
