  1. Been 2 years since I worked on this car. Still need to paint the thing. But anyone following this can look forward to it being finished hopefully soon
  2. I have already posted this in the diorama section but ill post it here cause this is the right place for it I have never built a diorama before and I would like your guys's help with it. Basically its going to be a car parked on the shoulder of a highway. In it will be the pavement and the ditch which will be a little gravel then grass. I need some input on how to make the pavement mostly. Any help with the ditch part would also be very helpful Thanks, Pacen
  3. Just made a great trade with "vintagedragcrazy" and went very well. Would trade with him again anytime
  4. I know with this being a question that it should be in the question answers section but i Though this would be better answers. 5. Here is an update on the Hudson. Got to the hobby shop and got some paint. Here is the interior that is almost completely done. As well as a moc up it.
  6. actually no. The interior is not mine. I only posted it showing what mine was going to look like. I stated above saying not mine. Maybe this will be more clear. But thanks, the engine is mine
  7. Here's a quick update. The car has been masked where it will be painted black. As well as the engine is fully complete. bumblebi and Charlie8575 i have decided to go with the stock interior with the brown colour combo as shown below. (Not mine)
  8. with your computer, can you only draw up 2D things like you did with the dash or can u build things like a steering wheel?
  9. New plan. Going with a honey cream and black sides and roof. Stay classy my friends 🍻. As well as a black interior. Any input on a better interior Colour?
  10. i have a question if your still listening. Did you use any of the gangster trees on these builds? if not, do u still have them? if so send me a text because id like them.
  11. oh so its an automotive paint? what ever it is it perfect! it just has that hint of satin in it and its my favorite shade of blue too
  12. This is terrible news! Im building the kit right now so im going to have to go through all this as well! I also am using ultra bright and I know what you mean. It sucks but the result is great.
  13. Well I can't do anything much right now. Need to get paint for the body, and the paint has to be stripped from the seats. Bad paint. But here's a moc up of the car for now
  14. This is my first post here on the workbench section so ill try to keep you guys posted. I've already started the model though. So far so good. Besides needing to put the exhaust pipe and drive shaft in the chassis loose, because they will be in an enclosed piece in the chassis, the rear end went together extremely well. The white walls are also amazing! The engine was good. Needed to modify some parts to make them fit right though. Again I didn't glue the spindles onto the chassis or the control arms so they are steerable. Because this is a mafia car, I need some gangster figures and guns, stuff like that. If anyone has some parts from any Gangbusters kits, I'd like to buy or trade for them.
  15. Holy BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH the interior is amazing! i had such a hard time with mine having all the seats and sides molded together. And the dashboard is outstanding! love every bit of this car so far. cant wait to see the finished build
  16. Ya its a first time thing for me so I'll see how it turns out, but thanks for all your insight
  17. Because II'm going to be spraying on the primer of coarse, then a metallic black, next clear Pearl, topped with clear red. I'm assuming it will be pretty thick. Another quick question, can the translusent clear colours be used as top clears like any other gloss or Pearl clear?
  18. That's exactly what I though when I did a render of the car with this colour Mike. And I would never be able to do it that way. My hands are to shaky to ever be able to just lay down the BMF like that! But I might do it in the future. But glad you guys like it
  19. I have a quick question for you, my next model will be the first one that I do with an opening trunk. I watched your hinging tutorial and I'll definitely be following it. But my paint job is going to be really thick so I wanted to know how well they will fit together. Do I need to sand the sides a bunch? Or will it fit without any modifications. Just thought I'd see what you have to say before I screw it up and have to reprint. Thanks
  20. I've been looking around online to try to find the perfect combination of the 1953 Hudson Hornets stock colours of "honey cream" and "ebony black". I came across yours and thought that would be perfect. Only problem is I can't figure out what the stock interior for that colour combination is. Wondering if you might have any pictures of the interior that I could copy. (Don't want to steal your idea but just want a very classy stock build). I read that a relative of yours owned one and it came as you built it. If you could post the interior that would be very helpful. Thanks
