glue review video, yes you heard right
louie replied to RocketJockey87's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Hey RocketJockey87, yep I liked the video. I have only been back to the Hobby for a few years so I much appreciate this test on glue. Glue or should I say Gluing my build's has got to be my ( and I mean by far ) my biggest downfall. So thank you, l always appreciate good advice on modeling. By the way do you have anymore model related videos and If so where can I find them. Thank you. Jeff -
If you promised, than your doing the right thing. Keep up the good work. Jeff

Nice pictures MG. I do not have any versions of this challenger so I think that I will make this one my first. I know that the roof and a couple of other things are a little funky on this kit but I am always up for a challenge ( ha no pun intended ). But seriously l like the kit and try to give Round 2, Revell and Moebius as much business as possible. I am far, far, actually very, very far from being wealthy but I do try to do my part on keeping them going. Maybe I'll buy 2. Thank you everyone. Jeff

Keep up the good work MattSteel85 . Talon63 ,I like your mustang too. That color looks awesome on it and the stance, perfect, perfect. what a classic movie, funny thing that it was based on this time of year (thanksgiving ) or at least that's the way I remember. Foxer, any more news on your daughters car. Any updates? I've been following this one for a little while. I really like what you have done so far. I'm just really starting to get into Die-cast. Plastic and resin are my first choice but noticing that we have a lot of Die-cast car's that you can not get in styrene . Prime example Foxers reliant. Keep up the good work foxer. Thank you. Jeff

A Happy Accident With Castrol Purple
louie replied to oldcarfan's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Again, I have learned something new. Had absolutely no idea that the purple would do that. I have learned soooo much different stuff on the forum. Never to old to learn. At least that's what I keep telling myself, seems to be working! Thanks again everyone, please keep all the different ideas coming because I am paying attention. Jeff -
What are your pre-build planning methods?
louie replied to Jeremy Jon's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
same here. I think as i lay in Bed before I Fall Asleep . Ever since I can remember I have always done this. I plan my next day or my next model project or whatever. I am not a factory stock person but don't get me wrong I do love em, so I don't really gather much reference on a particular car. I do though on engine details especially when I want to go wild. I am a day 2 car nut. It's what got me into cars in the first place and it's what I still lean to when I build. Also I have to be organized and when I stray from being organized I am in trouble. Can't find anything, can't finish anything , so I try to keep things in order. What a great topic this is. I have really enjoyed reading the different strategies that everyone has. Thank you. Jeff -
Thanks Charlie and John. It's good to hear an update on Paul. Like I said in my last post here that the only things that I know about Paul and the guys at D.R.A.G is what I've read here and there and that they are TRUE people. So when I first heard about Paul my heart, thoughts and prayers went right out to him. Also Charlie I would love to go to NNL -EAST and meet everyone but unfortunately for me my financial situation does not permit me to do much but you never know April is still a little ways away. Again thanks everyone for the update and Paul I am and I am sure everyone is praying for you. Thank you. Jeff
