MCM Ohana (6/6)

  1. Do not spend a whole lot of time in this forum, but sure glad I stopped by on this one. That is one beautiful build, would like to see some more pictures of it.
  2. Very nice build indeed. The weathering is just right, not overdone. Also like the idea you used the 6 cylinder rather than a V-8, just adds more to the overall idea of the truck.
  3. Especially love the Vicky body-style of all the different versions of the '30-'34 era Fords. For some reason the rear "bustle" turns me on. Your build just looks so right, everything just fits the overall concept so well. One fine build.
  4. Beautiful modified. Although the coupes were my favorites, the Pinto/Vega era was also quite fun to watch. However all good things must come to an end and now there is the cookie-cutter modified. Sorry about the digression. Your build brings back some fond memories from Bowman-Gray Stadium and Martinsville, from days gone by.
  5. Ingenious repair on that hood. Really interesting watching this build come together.
  6. Nothing wrong with this build, I would drive it. Very nice color combo and clean engine compartment.
  7. Just heard a rumor there is going to be an Ollie's opening in a former grocery store near me. There is one around 25 miles away, but this one will be only 8 miles away and is in the town where I do most of my shopping. Plus it is in the same strip mall as Harbor Freight, O'Reilleys, and my bank (oops).
  8. Very well built Galaxie, that color really sets off those beautiful body lines.
  9. Looks right to me, love those short track racers. Everything about this type build is open to the imagination of the builder.
  10. Interesting build. There is a lot of money on the hood of that Gremlin.
  11. Very nice looking Nova. Very well represents the low-buck racer entry that was not factory sponsored. Really like those wheels and tires.
  12. Fine looking late model. Loved that era of short track racing.
  13. Sitting on my porch drinking coffee and enjoying the break of dawn when I got a phone text from my bank asking if I had made a purchase from GREATTOYGLOBALMARKETP on my Visa card. I called the number they gave me and was told someone had made a purchase for that amount this morning. I have been awake for just more than an hour and have not been on my computer, nor have I ever heard of this company. So, as of now that particular credit card is blocked and a new one will be sent to me. This is the second time in the past 12 months this card has been defrauded. I really need to determine where the 'leak' is and get it plugged. Guess I will be spending some time at the bank this morning getting this straightened out.
  14. Worked in the basement a good part of the day assembling my new aerator/spreader. Got it all together with no left over parts and no cuts or abrasions on my body. Did have to take the aerator blade section apart and reassemble it because I used the wrong size washer. Now I need to purchase some fertilizer and grass seed so I can start trying to get my lawn to grow something other than clover, dandelions, and assorted weeds.
