Hello All I am wondering if anyone has some suggestions for an approximate Coca-Cola red. I am sure I read here somewhere that either model master Guards red or Italian red are close, but I cannot find the thread. Or does anyone else have suggestions? I have access to Tamiya, Humbrol/Revell & some older Model master paints. I use enamels, but can be tempted by the Tamiya lacquer paints. Thanks Ashleigh

You are right, my bad, yep it's Pontiac engine blue. Working from memory for me is always risky!!!

Hello All Thanks for the advice. I am going to try a couple from the model master paints, being Oldsmobile engine metallic blue & I have 2 blues coming, in which I will look at the closest match when they arrive. They look close to my failing eyes. Thanks for the help Ash

Hello All I am wondering if anyone can help me on the closest match colors required for the body of the Blue 84 Pro-Am leasing ASA Camaro? Being in Australia, I am somewhat limited in choice. I would prefer not not mix color, but will if I need too... Thanks Ash

Hello All I am hoping someone might be able guide me...I am having a go at the Tamiya Red Bull Yamaha YZR500. Does anyone know where to put the rear brake reservoir (Part A51) for the 2 bikes that have the rear brake controlled by the foot pedal, not the handlebars. I am having trouble both seeing it, & with limited light in the shed & black of the bike frame. If anyone could give me some guidance it would be appreciated Thanks Ashleigh

Would it be worth trying a flat white base, Then shaving a charcoal pencil to grubby it up? Thanks Ash

Hello I grabbed a tin of Model Master Go Mango. Does anyone know if the Tamiya primer's will work underneath Enamel paints? I couldn't find a lot of info, more just saying my local stores do not have a supply. Thanks Ash

Hello All Thanks for the reply, It is a 1970 Camaro. I will look at both the primers. It will just depend on what I can get. Could you please let me know what Tamiya Pink it is? I am not finding any primers in that range. Thank you Ash

Hello all I am hoping for some guidance? I want to know if there is a more suitable color to undercoat for Orange? I am having trouble even coating the orange color. I am also wondering if anyone has any suggestions on how to make the red taillights stand out against the orange? I have a had trial run & the taillights definitely blended in to the orange. Thank you Ash

Hello All I need some guidance. I am building the EBBRO 1982 Belgian GP Lotus. I am stuck at step 1, the engine build. It asks you to cut something around parts, F4,5, 14 & 15. I am just not clear what? I am thinking it's shortening parts F14,15. But it could be a trick of perception/perspective on the instructions. Does anyone know what exactly needs to be cut? Thanks Ash

Hello All I am wondering if anyone has tips on how to repair thread damage in plastic? I was working on a model & it accidently fell out of hands, the most damage was to a part that was screwed on. I could use a longer screw, but I don't like my chances of finding one, that is less then 5mm longer. I have looked in my "bone yard" for one that suits to no avail. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks Ash

Hello All I am not sure if this is the correct forum, it's the closest I could think off. Does anyone know if anyone produced or produces decals for a 1:12 Tamiya Bimota Tesi Motorcycle? I figured I'd try here first before going down the masking & painting path, which if obviously more difficult. Thanks for the help? Ash

This is another scheme that is my favourite, You have done a great job at it. I have done a snap together kit, just to have one in this scheme. I do have one spare to do when I can do it justice. Great work Ash

Hello All Hopefully I have done this right. Hopefully I will have attached some pictures of Ed McCulloch's Otter pops Old's funny car. I have really loved this car since I was kid. The blue is custom mix, it came out flatter then I had hoped. Thanks Ash

Hello All One last quick question (I hope!!!) Does anyone know of a painting mask set for the body of the 7/11 IMSA mustang. I couldn't find anything obvious on line. Failing that does anyone have any tips or tricks they used to paint theirs? I am mainly concerned with the bonnet area. I had a look & seems more complex then I originally thought. I thought where the front of the bonnet is, is the demarcation of where the blue ends. It also has rounded corners, which I struggle with especially when there are no cheat lines. Thanks again. Ash

Hello All Thank you all, your input has been awesome. I do have the Indycal's 7/11 decals (& the Folgers for that matter) which is why I am trying to get as much detail as I can. Again thank you all Ash

Hello All Sorry to rehash an old question. But would anyone have an idea on what colour the engine would be on the IMSA mustangs? I am thinking either Ford blue, Aluminium or gunmetal/metallic black. Could anyone shed any light on this? Just as another thought, is there a website or book that would have pictures? I am not finding a lot with a "google" search. Thanks Ash
