  1. Keith sent the remaining decals as promised. They are great!
  2. I did get a reply. I have not received the corrected order. This has not been a smooth transaction for me. He did say last Sunday he was printing the corrections. Based on the delivery time the first time, they should be here next Friday.
  3. I ordered a set of 1958 Edsel Pacer decals from Keith Marks after seeing all of his reviews on this site. When the decals arrived they are missing two decals. the valve covers decals for the E400 and E475 only have one decal each instead of two. i have attempted to contact him four times and he will not respond. Does anyone know how to reach him? The decals are great. I just want the valve cover decals so i can finish my engine build. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
  4. I have all three pen sizes. I do not use the 4mm much at all. I use the 2mm for general applications and the 1mm is definitely the right choice for fine detailing. Also, I have found the refills available on Amazon. Going to get that and try it through the airbrush soon.
  5. I have used the Createx a couple of times and found it difficult to work with. I mixed the paint with the Createx Mix additive 4030 in a 90/10 ratio paint to additive. I shot the paint using an airbrush with a .5mm needle at 40 to 50 psi. It came out ok. I have been using Vallejo Model Air Acylics and really like them. If you are in an area with limited resources Amazon is a great place to find paints and other items.
  6. For those of you that answered my question about the heat and the embossing powder, I thank you. For those of you that replied try it and let us know or free spoons at the golden arches shame on you. As you can see from the number of posts I am somewhat new to the site. I also am very intimidated by what you guys can accomplish. I am just trying to learn so that maybe some day I can approach the perfection displayed on here. In the past I would private message Harry P and he always graciously answered and never made me feel bad. This is the first time to ask a question publicly. I'm not sure about asking again.
  7. Want to try the embossing powder for my interior carpet. My wife is into crafting. She says you need to heat the embossing powder after applying to make it stand out. Has anybody done this? Thanks in advance for any help and advice.
  8. About a month ago I was searching the internet and found door handles for hot rods and 50's cars. I have been searching for a week now and cannot seem to find them again. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  9. Great paint work Steve. Could you please explain how you did the scripting in more detail? The results are stunning
  10. Very nice. Can you tell me what color you used to paint the bowl of the fuel pump.
  11. Has anyone used the Meguiars clay bar system to remove orange peel rather than wet sanding? Newbie be gentle if I am completely offbase.
