  1. I 3d printed the pattern prime and sanded it, then made a mold, resin it . than you mill the back of it really thin
  2. Revell Triumph drag bike. I started with a custom show bike and converted it in to a drag bike, the frame was stretched. The rear tire was a ebay find. 3D printed parts oil tank & hand grip holders. Machine parts gas tanks & air cleaners. It is completely detailed right down to the compression fittings on the oil lines. All the original chome was bad and was stripped and repainted. I didn't know much about drag bikes but I do now. I was inspired by John Teresi bikes
  3. Built to replicate something from the sixties. I tried to stay true to the sixties style build. The paint is testors purple metallic enamel and the interior and frame are pearl white. The engine is AMT parts pack.
  4. Bantam Speedster. It was built as a challenge to see what I could do with a bantam body. Painted testors fury orange. I used parts from various kits to build this car. Sometimes you just gotta be different.
  5. The 57 is built to replicate the one that was in a magazine. This is my representation of the car. The paint is testors pure gold lacquer. I designed and printed the decals at home. The diamond tuck interior is scratch built using a 3D printer and painted pearl white, other parts include a moon tack machine out of aluminum, the instrument panel is custom made. The engine was scratch built using various parts from other kits, the valve covers and velocity stacks are all 3D printed. The radiator is modified and painted to simulate a new unpainted radiator. There are many details to this car, the entire front front suspension was scratch built. A lot of the chrome is painted not plated. All the brake lines are ran and all the wiring is just how it should be, even the wheels are bolted to 3D printed break drums. My goal is always to try to make all the parts I needed.

  7. Yes they fit in my showcase 1/8 won't. And thanks for the nice comments
  8. Monogram little drag and little rode. I built these box stock just like monogram should have done in the sixties, they are 1/24 replicas of their 1/8 big kits big drag and big Rod. I tried to match the colors that were in the larger kits. Most of the parts are from monogram kits from the 60s. I started with the little T kits and went from there and scratched building anything else I needed. Monogram please make these into model kits.
  9. .thanks guys for the kind comments. Wall keep you posted on the progress
  10. No not printing both cab and bed together. Using a 74 truck kit for parts. You need think of it as a old revell kit, print it flat. If you print in pla it will sand like a rock. Print in abs that is model plastic. I print in pla for test shots and abs for the final result the sides are printed with a .6mm tip at speed 50. comes out like 220 to 100 grit. I only use the outer shell not the back, set printer to a thicker shell. 6mm Tip x2 = .047 inch outer shell. Small parts printed at .25 tip at 15 to 25 speed sand out with 400.I can print down to a .013 line. Printing it will give a good start both sids will be the same right or wrong
  11. This is my 3d printed 1/25 truck, did it at home on a ultimaker 2+ and Sketchup. will post more pic soon
