Thought I heard a rumblin'/Calling to my name/Two hundred million guns are loaded/Satan cries "take aim"/Better run through the jungle...

    Hey Gang-

This is my recently completed 1/72 Italeri UH-1B Huey Gunship, in the markings of the 120th AHC Razorbacks, circa Vietnam. Made a bunch of enhancements and additions to the kit. Huey gunships are very busy in the cargo/cockpit area, so the bulk of the work was done in those two spots (most of which can be seen in this Facebook photo album- https://www.facebook.com/Albymoore/media_set?set=a.10201484012640568.1073741838.1183606216&type=3# ). I also did some exterior work where needed. The Razorback decals were custom made by Joseph Osborn of Fireball Modelworks, while the rest of the markings were sourced from various US Army Huey decal sheets. All comments and critiques welcomed, and thanks for looking!

Thanks for all the kind comments, I greatly appreciate them! @ Glenn- the wheels are stationary. They were able to be repositioned until I accidentally glued the left side spindle while attaching the steering arm. Thanks again y'all!

Had a little fun with the photo editing software on my phone-

Revell 1923 T-bucket Ford hot rod
    Hi Gang-

This is my just completed 1/25 Revell T-bucket Ford, built from the 'Rat Rods Amigos' boxing. I didn't get carried with any extra detailing outside of adding a few parts from other kits as I wanted a simple, hassle-free shelf build. The extras include a sewing pin shifter, five spoke rims from a Revell 1929 Ford Model A pickup, and headlights from a Revell 1932 Ford. The windshield frame is from the kit, though I chopped it down a bit for a more contemporary style. The decals came from various sheets, while the license plates are from Gopher Graphics. The finish is Dupli-Color Flat Black with a satin clear coat (Model Master Acryl semi-gloss to be exact). For the finishing touch, a skull was added to the radiator shroud (sourced from a diecast rat rod model). Comments/critiques welcomed, thanks for looking!

    Cheers,
    Albert

Thanks again, fellas! @ Dominik- I used a Rust-All wash mixed with earth tone pastels, then applied with a broad brush (or stippled for a little texture). The base coat is red oxide primer. IMO it's a bit rustier than I wanted, but all in all I am pleased, given it's my first attempt at this kind of finish.

    Albert

Thanks for all the kudos on my Lincoln! I debated on whether to rust the chrome, then I found a photo of a patina'ed car with a new chrome at a car show and liked the looks of it. Old and new, shiny and brown hue.

    Monogram 1941 Lincoln Continental slammer

So cool having the forum back up. Here's my most recent build. This is the rather old 1/24 Lincoln Continental built as a curbside rust slammer of sorts. Actually it started off as an experiment in doing a patina finish that went fairly well so I went ahead and finished it. As far as the kit goes, it wasn't too bad, but it shows its age and was troublesome in spots. The suspension was lowered quite a bit from stock height as it looks much better in the weeds. Thanks for looking, all comments, kudos, critiques etc welcomed as always.
