  1. That's cool because I was in the store parking lot when I was near completion of this build when I spotted this guy having lunch in his 55. I approached him and we spoke about his car and I ask him if I could take a pic, he said sure. Then I told him I was building a similar model with the near same paint scheme. He thought it was cool until I remembered that I had pix of my model after the paint job, so I showed him the pic. He loved it. He was the second owner of this car and had it for over 40 years that he got from his uncle, the original owner.
  2. Here is my latest build. One of my favorite real life cars. A 55 Chevy 210 Post with a 265. Went with a two-tone paint on it with Rustoleum Gloss Seaside Green and Rustoleum Gloss White. I did not clear coat this one as a tried a new method of Pledge Floor Wax. Came out better than I thought. Also tried the Molotow Chrome Pens instead of BMF. Like some spots and disliked others. Used some big meats on the rear and dropped the stance a bit. Thanx for looking!
  3. Clean as ever! Love the retro green windshield etc. Great looking all around.
  4. Outstanding build. Love everything about it.
  5. Love the color too. Nice and clean build.
  6. Looks great! Interested in the Willy's truck in the background though. Where did you find that?
  7. Perfect vinyl top and the engine compartment is very sweet!
  8. Stellar! Love it. Great job all around.
  9. Try the Molotow Chrome Pens, they are great! Purists will frown on replacing BMF, but do what you feel comfortable with.
  10. Nice straight cut on the windshield BMF. Two-tones are tough and you look like you mastered it. Good job.
  11. Beautiful job all around! I just picked up a Revell 23 window Samba Bus. Hope I can come close to yours.
  12. Add me to the newly converted user of the Molotow Chrome Pens (1mm & 2mm). They are great!
  13. I too just discovered these. Awesome! I have the 1mm and 2mm. They take a while to dry, so be careful. I am doing my latest build with this instead of BMF. A steady hand is a plus and the 2mm will puddle a little if you stop in the middle somewhere. These are perfect for re-chroming the little white part left from the sprue removal of any chrome part. Also they are perfect for door handles, locks and any interior trim. Really happy I found these.
  14. Love the stance and color. I have one of these on deck.
  15. Looks nice. You left off the radiator stabilizers just like I did. LOL. Love your stance. Wished mine was lower. Mine is a Jimmy Flintstone body.
  16. That is superb! Love to do that kit in the future.
