  1. i dont know what the black fork boots look like, but if you could replace them they sell yellow rubber and vinyl..just do a Google search. i dont think prime and paint black rubber will work. i have never heard anyone doing it with any success
  2. i have been buying 3D parts & body's since they started printed them. as far as long term issues its way to early in the game to tell it they will be issues in years to come..
  3. i did one years ago. if you need pictures message me and ill send you what i took...but you can now buy one from Models by Dave..... he's on Facebook, or just Google him up and message him. great guy to deal with.. i wish he had it when i did mine..
  4. i use fishing tackle stowaway box's. you can buy them in all different size
  5. no never have..i just keep the filter clean and it wiped down with a wet cloth, turn on my blower and blow it out with air in a can before i paint leaving the blower on minuets before i start spraying.
  6. he dont really care cause hes just doing a YouTube video. i never do that. i cut from the tree scrape - sand & fill in sink marks or seams. if you do like he does you will still see where you cut it off the tree and touched it up with paint..

  8. one thing i forgot to mention in my first post after the decals wrinkle a while like 10 minuets press them down with a paper towel..
  9. you are waiting way to long to apply the Micro Sol.. after i have applied the set to the body i keep brushing it on top of the decal for maybe a minuet.. let it set a minuet then ill take a paper towel and press down the decal and then come over it with a good coat of the Micro Sol.. i do all this within 20 minuets or less...been doing it this way since the 80's..
  10. i been using this on Chrome for many years..https://www.amazon.com/Tamiya-Acrylic-X27-Gloss-Clear/dp/B00TT856HG?source=ps-sl-shoppingads-lpcontext&ref_=fplfs&psc=1&smid=A1ZHB4F83K0YSQ
  11. get the dremel tool out and make it fit. just take a little off at a time till it fits right.
  12. you not suppose to sniff it Chad..lol.. i been using it many years and dont find it smelly at all.
  13. why dont you try to straighten it out by putting in in some hot water for like a minuet and see it it will flex. if not leave it in their longer. if that dont work may be the water is not hot enough. once you get the hood sating on the car right clamp in in place and let it cool. you may have to do this a few times to get it right but i have straighten parts this way..
  14. the only i know is to sand it off then polish it out ..
