  1. This quacks me up! It's ducking funny! Do you suppose the homeowner found that flighty paving company on the web?
  2. Excellent build! Good move to dirty up the treads of the tires. Early auto tires were white or 'gum' - actually colorless - in appearance because the tire industry had not yet adopted the practice of using carbon black to color (and strengthen) the rubber. I believe this kit is 1/24. It's on my short list, and Matt shows why!
  3. #2 will be the most popular option. 🙄
  4. It was Bill Mitchell and his fish was stolen, painted to match the finished car, then returned to his office - without him being the least bit aware. Or so he let them believe. I've also heard he was fully aware of what they did - he was nobody's fool - and he actually admired their ingenuity, although he didn't let on.
  5. Yes. Purely as a public service, I will rehome any of those for good citizens who are plagued by those unnecessary dadgum things. 😉
  6. Excellent! I, too, love the color. It pops -- and it's not red or white!
  7. Mark, That's . . . off the hook! [😵Awrgh. I shouldn't a done that.]
  8. Beautiful blue (well, originally beautiful) Lamborghini Aventador playing Car-B-Que on the street in Scottsdale, just off the freeway. Big, gaping black hole where the body work used to be. Scottsdale FD on scene and - sorry - no pictures as Scottsdale PD was moving looky-loos like me through the fire scene rather quickly. Sad to see such a high-dollar supercar cook itself off. Incendiary suicide.
  9. Let me join the choir: this is a great kit. I've built two and have recently conjured up a ideas for a couple more Maggies. Here's a couple I threw together for a 24-hour build [Full disclosure - I missed the deadline by a couple of hours, but it was close!]. AZ DPS HIGHWAY PATROL When I built this one, the AZ Highway Patrol was toying with ideas for new markings. This was my suggestion - capitalizing on the old copper colored patrol cars from the late 20's and early 30's. BAKER COUNTY (FL) SHERIFF The second was a play on my name. If there's a Baker County somewhere, I've gotta be the 1/25 Sheriff, right? The decals are legit but the Aztec Gold paint was solely my creation. It actually looks pretty good with the green stripes. Something I would do differently when building a Magnum into a police vehicle -- eliminate the sunroof. I considered it on these two builds, but I really was trying to get them both done in the 24 hour build. [Sorry about the oversized pics; I think I've figured out how to moderate them next time.] Crank out some Magnums, guys! It's a great kit, well engineered and falls together - nearly builds itself.
  10. Great to see you back, Bill! This is an excellent model. Great way to 'ease' back into the saddle. Looking forward to more.
  11. Oh, that's just plain gorgeous!! Exquisite work, Jay!
  12. My internet connection stuttered. Did you say "inducted" or "indicted"? 😲 Yes, Virginia, spelling is important! 😄
  13. Sorry you can't make it, Jesse. I guess I'll just have to try to have enough fun for the both of us! LOL. Good luck with Hilary. She's a wicked wench from the sounds of it.
  14. The planet is trying to tell us that combustibles ignite when subjected to lightning or arsonists. Maybe even trying to tell us that dry combustibles ignite easier and burn more readily and hotter, too.

    Yard Art

Didn't know if I liked it at first, but as time goes by, it grows on you! Good job!
  16. Barbie Breaking Bad Starter Kit! Way funnier than the law should allow!!!
  17. Very, very nice! And, neat little tip-of-the-hat to Albert in that last pic!
