Well done! You do great at both new and well weathered.

Very convincing. Well done!

On the other hand Roger, offering it can help the builder see where they can improve and help them become better. There is a difference between calling someone a hack and explaining how they can improve. There are ways to be gentle about it.

Earlier releases had a roof 'rack' that was a large panel w/ a recessed area in it, like a tub. Nothing like the cross bars that are being added.
Yeah I haven't dug out my parts to compare but it's hard to do that anyway with a drawing on the box side. Those drawings don't always compare well with parts. Will be interesting to see what's in the kit. No matter really as I will do mine stock anyway lol.

My my, that is beautiful. How about some engine pics? My stepson lives in Prague.

Nope. Don't like it at all. I LOVE it!! Well done!??

Very well done. Black is hard and you got it. Not sure why you had troubles with the Alclad. Unless it wasn't completely dry. I thought that it was a fairly hardy paint. Maybe next time try Bare Metal Foil.

Some fair kits but only one I really want is the Chevelle wagon. He says the roof rack was never available. I think I have some earlier release parts and it's amongst them. I could be wrong. Also, cmon guys, except for the Camaro, GAUGE DECALS! And green glass? I don't think so. What's the point of that??

Nice but you need to take your pics landscape.
-
Just beautiful. That color works so well on that body.

Stellar work as usual Tommy, and the decals are awesome. You going to put up a tutorial on the fender corrections?
-
Nice, except the wood flame decal doesn't really go with a stock wagon.

Very well done!!

Well done!

I owe getting back into the hobby to SAE/SA. If it hadn't been there I wouldn't most likely have taken the interest.

I don't agree.
I don't believe that without being told, you would have ever been able to tell that at least these models were not painted, at least from the photos.
It's easy to say that in hindsight, but without being supplied that information beforehand, I don't think that you would have been able to make that determination.
I consider myself to have a pretty good eye for this sort of thing, and I would have never known without being told.

And I respectfully disagree. I will give you the Superbee, that one is a tough call but I see the plastic in the t bird. There is no right or wrong here, it's in how the individuals eye see things. I have seen paint I thought was kit plastic so it's not always cut and dry. A lot depends on how well things are done as well. Yours are among the better ones I've seen.

Very well done. This kit back in 92 is what got me back in the hobby. I recently got another one and now I know my direction with it. Kudos!

Nice GTO.

Ywhile the above models look nice to my eye cleared or polished plastic still looks like plastic. If you are building factory stock you would be limited to one choice, and what's to say the molded color is accurate to a factory color.

With the exception of the wheels and tires it's beautiful.

Not necessarily. I've seen builders who never improve.
