Super job in the engine detail. If i may ask what did you use for the throttle spring? The alternator bracket is a great addition. Paint looks good. Well done!
-
Thank you. Wanted something that kinda slaps you in the face.

Next it to clean up the black line on the body and lay the red down. After the black has had a day or two to fully set.Trying to make this car as close to the 2001 Daytona car as possible but finding details on anything other then the outside look of the car is rather hard to find.
-
Just got the primer laid out and the black laid down as well. Some of the engine is done, just waiting on parts to come in

No... no they don't. I was really stoked as I have been wanting to build one with a portion of the hood clear. So you could imagine my disappointment when pulling off the tape.
-
Thank you. Wanted to do something bold so had the graphics cut out of vinyl on the wife's paper craft machine.

This is one of only four non-American car. This is the Tamiya kit.the car turned out just as I hoped except the hood. This kit come with a clear hood and when I taped off the part of the hood I didn't want painted. Then when spraying the clear coat, it soaked through the tape and distorted the clear hood. Oh well, know what not to do now.

thanks. I am waiting for goodies from Pro Tech before I can really start building it.
-
Started on this a couple weeks ago. Got the grill cleaned up and just shot with primer. About to clear coat the cage.
-
Thank you. Yes this kit comes with the plug wires and the heater hoses. as for all the other wires and hoses, I sourced them myself.

Wow great detail under the hood and the interior is spot on.If I may ask, how did you get the seat and the door panels to look like that?
-
Ha thanks. When I added the blower, it took up room where the fan was supposed to go so I made it and "electric" fan... just with out the shroud.

This is one of the other Revell Foose edition that I did a couple years back.
-
ok I will most definitely be looking into that.
-
Thank you, as this is the second Foose one that I have done. The kit comes with Foose designed stripes that look nothing like the ones I put on. Wasn't too fond of them.

hummm interesting. I was not aware of a way to fixing the chrome. when the chrome parts have the lined or any defect in them I don't like it, never have heard of Alcad II Chrome. Is it easy to use?

Built this one almost two years ago. One of my favorite out off all the ones I built. Only two decals where used and that was the 302 on the hood. Also fist time using BMF for the trim. And as always, comments and criticizem is welcome.

Built this one back in 2014 around memorial day. This was one of my first airbrushing attempts. As always, comments and critiziem is welcome.

Thanks, yea it was going well until I ran out of clear coat mid spray and had to substitute with a different then the clear coat leaked through the tape and ruined the original windows. Lol just one thing after another.
-
Thank you. I try and make the little subtle things stand out a bit.

Just finished this one. Had a major problem with the front and back windows as i had to make with other kits. Not happy with the way the turned out but everything else is to my satisfaction. Made the turbos and inter-cooler from a type of modeling putty/clay from hobby lobby. Please let me know what y'all think whether it be good or bad.

Thank you. This was the first hatch that I cut to open so had to get creative on the hinge.
