  1. Just a suggestion - if you can get your camera onto a tripod; try taking about 6 photos with the focus on different points. Then use some software like "Helicon Focus" which will take all the images and put them together so that the whole thing is nicely focused. As an example, here is my recent Dan Gurney GT40 done that way.

I made this kit some time ago but from the original boxing - Sunny: The decals were absolutely shot so I had to print up the orange dot and the Ferrari badge myself and make the number roundels from vinyl circles with laser printed numbers in them. Great fun (not!). Here is my finished example. I am always scared of the chrome edges so I tend to leave them off - I work on the basis that if I screw up, then it looks worse than not having the chrome in the first place!   3. Each time I open either box, I quake so maybe I will take that route otherwise they will never get made! Thanks for the advice.
  4. I am very much an out of the box modeller and more happy with curb side models. I have both versions of this kitin my stash. Can it be made as a curb side? i.e. Without all the interior detail, which I understand can make difficulties when fitting the body?
