  1. Hello Everyone. I am hoping one of the older guys (like me) can tell me how long this magazine was published. I have 10 issues in my collection so far. I have the first issue from November 1963. This is Vol,1 No. 1 The last ( date wise)one in my collection is Vol.2 No. 3 February 1965. I have seen pictures of the covers of April, June 1964 and January 1965. I am missing these last three mentioned and currently looking for. Anyone here know when last issue was published?? Thanks for any help James
  2. The Minilites are from Competition Resin. They look good to me. Its just going to be a shelf model as of right now, not looking to build a contest car. The other wheels look great though. Thanks a bunch to everyone
  3. Rex and Steve A big thanks for the help and info. I have the decals and Minilite wheels Just might start on a body this week ,
  4. Steve Hey, THANKS! this is the post I had remembered seeing in the past. !!! I was beginning to think I was making it up Maybe you had posted the project here. I just didn't remember when and where, heck I have a hard time remembering what I had for breakfast. !! 56 years old and getting older everyday
  5. Thanks JC I thought I read where someone cut slits around outer edge , wedged it out with braces ( scrap styrene) underneath and did lots of filling and sanding. Or, did any of the kit makers have flares added as build options for 70s Camaros?
  6. Maybe I haven't searched in the right place but does anyone here know of a resin replica body of Jim Halls Chappy Camaro? I tried a google search but got nothing, The wheel wells are flared out front and back. Or, has anyone done a detailed article on flaring the fenders on the AMT body? I guess it could be done but a clean resin body already modified would be much easier than me butchering up a bunch of bodies
  7. Got another question for the members here, Did/ or does any of the resin guys ever offer 1971 or 72 bumper sets for Monograms 70 GSX kit. It would be nice to do a 71 or 72 GSX build, I know the front changed and I believe the rear had a nameplate difference I think, I love building the GSX kit ,, it builds so nice. I think it wad one of Monograms best kits from that era. Sorry for all the questions but I have been commercial slot racing the past handful of years and now trying to catch up on model scene Randy
  8. Thanks Greg, Yes, let us know if you decide to produce them again, Randy
  9. I am currently building MPCs Cosma Ray and was doing some research online and stumbled upon a member here that built on of Gregs kits. Its been three or four years and was wondering if he still offers a resin kit of this car. I wonder if he still hangs out here and how to contact him? Thanks a bunch Randy
  10. Art Checked out your site.Very interesting on the parts. I left you a question through your site email
  11. Bill your right on most cars were pretty basic. Greenwoods were always a notch above most others. His paint schemes were so cool.
  12. Not looking for one particular car. I guess I could contact some of the custom decal makers/ send some pics and see what they would charge. I have the John Greenwood kits (and slots) I might try a hardcore search tonight
  13. Hello all, been awhile since I visited the forums. Took off a few years of modeling to race slot cars. I recently began looking for mostly 68 to 72 Corvette road racing decals. I see when I google this topic there are so many famous and not so famous really cool cars from this era. I have searched a few places but I am finding tons of drag racing decals at private sites, some of the big decal guys but I am not finding much of anything. I even would pay someone who produces custom order decals for their time. I thought they would be more common but maybe I am not looking in right place. Thank you for any help on my quest.
