Well I was finally able to get some work done this week. I got the engine detailed which took a lot longer than i had anticipated. It didnt fit great in the frame but with some minor massaging i was finally able to get it in. On the home stretch now

Thanks for all the compliments guys I really appreciate it. Metaldrumm thanks for the comment. Most hoosier slicks I've seen usually have it written twice on the tire, so that's why they're done like that on the model.

Nice build. Good job!

Thanks for the compliments guys! It's very much appreciated. You are correct on the 30 gauge Kynar wire. The battery cables are made with the individual wires stripped out of a cat 5 cable. Easy to get your hands on wire as an electrician. Here's a quick mock up of how it's gonna look

Did a little work on the trans am today. I was able to get some wiring done for the msd box and computer as well as get the battery in and the fuel pump plumbed and wired. Thanks for looking!

Wow awesome work Tyrone. Your level of detail is just incredible -
Thanks guys. The colour itself is Testers Fiery Orange for those interested

Well I made a little bit of progress today. Got most of the front end together and got a mock up of how the motor is gonna look. I also got the rear end in though I might end up taking it out to add a little more detail
-
Wow thanks for all the positive comments guys! It's really rewarding to have your hard work appreciated
-
Wow that color changes a lot under the light
-
Thanks for the compliments guys! The actual color is a testors paint called mystic emerald
-
Wow that paint looks good

Well since I got the camaro finished I figured I might as well get started on the next one . This build will be using the match racer firebird. Id like to put more detail into this one than the last so ill be trying some new things. I got the body painted to see how I liked the color and I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. Here's a teaser pic of things to come

Hey all! I'm still pretty new to the model scene but have loved so far what I've seen on this forum. There's a lot of amazing talent around here and it's definitely inspiring. This is my first finished model while being a member on this forum. I always want to improve on my model building so constructive criticism is always welcome. Thanks for looking!
