Very sharp engine and color!

Very cool indeed!

Nice color combo.

That's a cool looking truck, I like that you can actually fold up the log trailer. I'm looking forward to trying to do some weathering like you have on the stacks, it's very natural.

Thanks! It's fun to get some feedback. I tried to go cheap and easy for the first one, but I think I undershot it with this. There was really nothing to this model and no challenge at all. I also went cheap with the acrylic craft paint since this was my first go 'round with an airbrush.
For the next rig I was thinking of one of Revell of Germany's Dump Truck or Wrecker. If anyone has any suggestions or recommendations that can save me some time and money I'd really appreciate it!

I'm really digging that interior.

I like the detail on the dash and it's a nice bright white. Excellent!

This should have been in Under Glass: Big Rigs if someone can move it. Thanks

This is straight out of the box with no add ons. Even the paint and decals are the same as the box cover. It's Purple Pearl acrylic with Pledge clear. I'm not very adventurous with color yet but I'm fairly satisfied with the results considering it's my third model. All comments, critiques and suggestions are very much welcomed and appreciated.

WOW!!! I read through the WIP twice already and will a few more times I'm sure. Thanks for taking the time to document your build. It's really appreciated.

It looks good! Used but well cared for. The engine looks like it has decent miles on it and the light rust is a nice touch.

Hey all, my name is Kevin and I'm from central NJ. I got into models in the spring when a back injury left me with some down time to kill and I picked up a few to keep me busy. Well, now surgery is done, back is much better but the modeling bug has bit hard. I have few under my belt, cars and trucks straight out of the box so far, but I'm learning about detailing, customizing, weathering and I'm getting some experience using an airbrush. Now I've discovered this wonderful forum and subscribed to the magazine. Every thread I tap is just a wealth of info to cram into my brain. It's a very cool find for me. I'm looking forward to developing my skills and meeting some cool people along the way.
