We used to race 1/24-1/25 scale stock cars on a oval and road course but they were R/C cars actually pitting driver against driver and who could gain the most speed with a spec motor and gear now that was fun so I can just imagine there going at it

Really need to get this kit great job

This will be my first trek back into the build arena as I had been building ww2 aircraft thought i'd give a car a try and see how well the nerves do in my left arm (see my introduction for reason). Anyways i'm starting with the Lindbergh boattail speedster and see how it goes thinking of black car with cream trim and red highlights. So as this project starts the engine halves are in ( as Roger Rabbit would say Pleeeeeeeeeeeeese Eddy not the dip) as they came chromed from lindberg and I want to paint them in an appropriate color. As this car will also be getting done in time for a local hobby shop contest. So enjoy as it will be as time allows as i'm also looking for work. Till next update build on

Been modeling since 1972 when my uncle bought me an AMT KW challenge cement mixer as my very first model to build. Have built many kits from cars to planes to model railroad trains. And now I'm back into building box stock kits due in part to being in a commercial truck accident February 16 2016 when a drunk ran me off the road causing me to roll an 80,000 pound truck & load of apples/pears upside down this in turn caused some nerve issues with my left shoulder going numb and tingling. So I hope i'll be welcome here and try not to disappoint anyone as i'm limited at times as to what I can do. Thanks for allowing me here
