Have enjoyed plastic models of factory stock automobiles in 1/25 scale since about 1966.  Built from then to mid 1970s, then got the bug again after seeing the 10/87 issue of SAE where I learned a lot had happened to make the hobby more interesting again (resin, BMF, et al.); haven't built much in recent years again, but my inventory of un-builts has continued to grow to feed my retirement days in the few years ahead!  Wife, kids and grandkids keep my life interesting when I'm not thinking about how to kitbash that next project of a model no one has cast (i.e. the 1960 Hendrix Ford Fairlane roof with my 1960 Modelhaus Edsel Ranger to get a 1960 Ranger four door hardtop!)
