For family reasons, I need to find a quiet, but high quality compressor. Any tips?

I just primed a body using Duplicolor for the first time. I sprayed it from the can, and the result was a lot of texture. It sanded out to be pretty smooth , but I am wondering if I would get less surface texture if I had decanted it and used my airbrush. Any experience with this? Steve Grunt

I am working on Revell's Acura Integra "Hot Hatch" kit. The instructions say to paint the chassis gloss red, but that doesn't sound like the correct stock color. Anybody know for sure?

I bought a 1:1 1969 Roadrunner new. It was the cheap base model, with a 383 single 4 bbl., automatic with column shifter, bench seats, vinyl interior, everything cheap. I would like to build an accurate replica of it, but the only thing that I think will give me any trouble is the wheel covers. The car come stock with steel wheels and full wheel covers. I don't know how to describe them other than they were aluminum with round, fake holes. The simulated holes were painted flat black. I would like to know if anyone knows of anything close I could use. Thanks, Grunt

I am a retired CPA, 57 years old. I built about 35 - 40 model cars between the ages of 12 and 20, but haven't done anything since. Even though my health is not the greatest, I am determined to be able to build again. I have a vision problem; almost blind in my left eye, not real good overall. I have obtained a magnifier to wear, about 4 power I think. I also suffer from a form of arthritus that makes me feel quite bad some days, and I don't do much of anything on those days. I would like to know if there are other modelers like me who succeed in the hobby. Also if anyone knows of a source for more powerful magnification. Thanks, Steve Grant
