  1. Yeah. That's one of a few issues that made this kit a blood pressure killer.
  2. Thanks! I'll stick around and contribute what little I can. Like I said, I've lurked here for a while but never had the courage to post up my stuff. Insecurities; we all have 'em.
  3. Thanks. Yeah, I've always been insecure with my builds. :/
  4. The notorious kit from the 80s. The red is darker than the pic shows. Please excuse my bad photo skills. I hope you like it.
  5. As a lover of all things blues, I built these 1/24 scale models a couple of years ago of Howlin Wolf's 1950 Chevrolet Fleetline, of which there is only one known photo of. Since there were no kits of this car available (that I know of), I had to use 1951 kits and modify them. With the extra parts I built a junker. Of the good builds, I built two; one I kept, the other I sent to Buddy Guy and it now sits at Buddy Guy's Legends in Chicago. He replied with the photo in the last pic. .
  6. Thanks again for the kind words. Even though it can't be seen, I detailed the Ford's engine down to the spark plugs. Everything is scratch-built except for the car. I've always been hesitant to display my builds; they can't compare to some of the work I've seen on here (I've lurked for a while).
  7. It was a football display case like you can buy at Michaels. It was in the closet collecting dust, so I actually built the diorama around the case. Thanks for the compliments folks!
  8. Hey all! My latest diorama. Wilkes County moonshiner. Hope you enjoy!
